Agua Dulce, my entry to the Major comp is a fictional high desert course. Agua Dulce translates as Sweet Water in English and there is plenty of water to catch errant shots. The course has 4 pins and 2 tees, with the White measuring 7,459 yards and Black measuring 7,153 yards and it is a Par 71. West/NW wind is overall the easiest wind conditions to play in imo. Course has been published at 142 Green speeds but are playable on 155 (Fast) speeds and I'd recommend the default speed to be paired with Higher winds with the higher green speed to be with Low/Medium winds. Fairway are very firm and very fast at default with Greens being very firm. I hope you all enjoy your rounds and the challenge.

Gave this a play yesterday, there's some fun land movement here that makes no shot shafe from a tricky lie on the approach. I liked the way the water was used a bit more subtly then most ould, mostly a peremeter hazard you want to hang tight to to get the better angle, not strictly hero carries. Glad you got this one completed Allen as I know you were struggling with the crash monster. Good luck in the comp!

Thanks trailducker really appreciate that. Tried to go tough but fair which is partly why I published at 142 Green speeds. Judges can ramp it to 155 for the comp.

Deceptively hard. Well done yeah it is quite a bit harder on 155 green speeds.

Very natural environment! Plenty of side hill lies and good opportunity to use some shaping to keep it in play.

Lovely course Al, plays and looks great, played on Fast Firm Greens at 159 and they were testing but certainly scorable, pleased you managed to get this over the line, best of luck in the comp.

Really enjoyed this mate. Always like how you do your greens. Possibly on the easier side of the major courses, but nonetheless an enjoyable one!

Thanks again jimgem for playing the course Thanks strangi17 very well played👍 Wanted it difficult without being a dick punch and think I've achieved that. Would be very surprised if there's too many rounds on master better than -10. Couple of Plat players I know didn't even get near that on the 142 green speeds so should be OK difficulty wise.

aeastwood54, hilarious but I was just cruising around Google Maps and came across Agua Dolce just north of LA. I did not think that it might have been a real town and litreally came across it by chance. Played a round last night and enjoyed your design very much. Good luck in the comp. Cheers

blueblood1995 😁 I just looked up high desert locations and liked the name. Tend to do that for alot of my course names.
