Dear TST enthusiasts,
For our Australia Open, I'm taking you to the 2019 President's Cup layout of Royal Melbourne. Fairways and greens are firm but I did ask the GreensKeeper to keep an eye on the Stimpmeter and not let things get out of hand. Tee to green, you should all be fine and with the reduced green speeds putting should be doable as well.
Have fun and good luck, Frans

If you fancy laughing at/about me, come watch me take on Royal Melbourne without grids and on Legend while still on drugs after surgery last week...
Turns out I'm better without ghost... Round 1: -1 Round 2: -7

Seemed to have found something in round 2, so will try to ride my luck and play the final two rounds today:
AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH.... threw away five shots in the last few holes of the tournament by some disastrous putting...
Overall though, significant progress!
Round 3: -6 Round 4: -1 Total: -15

Got it out of the way early so I don't have to worry about it at all later.
+6, -4 (a real anomaly in the middle of garbage), +6, +5 for whatever. Doesn't matter. One fluke round where I play like I know I could, and then there's the rest. How painfully unfun. To me anyways. Maybe it's just not my idea of fun.
Course is great as usual. Just can't enjoy them as much as I used to be able to when my playing is garbage and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Cheers, good luck.

First round 69 that had too many mistakes as well as 6 birdies. Round 2 much happier with my consistency, an annoying bogey on 18 to spoil a potential clean card with 7 birdies and just the 1 bogey But that 65 is good solid scoring on legend TST so I am pretty happy to be -8 at the halfway point and level with Frans.

2 round of 69 to finish and missed my target of catching Frans by 3 strokes, another really nice course Royal Melbourne which has some of the fastest greens in golf so the heavy downpour overnight helped to slow them down for us . Tee to green very solid and only 3 putting twice but missed so many good birdie chances. After the 4 bogeys in round 1 only had 3 more mistakes in the next 3 rounds (1 each round) ,so much more solid golf. Love this course but struggled with reads a bit but burned the hole on so many birdie chances also, -12 and a 23rd place finish. New target for me now is top 20. Well played everyone...
