Why are we constantly playing tournaments in the dark? It's getting ridiculous and it shows nobody at TGC cares. This week's tournament is a prime example of terrible lighting.
It's not my TV, it's the course creator and time of day settings. I don't care how nice the course is, if I can't see anything, it makes for a terrible outing.
The game is hard enough, yet I have to constantly play in the dark.

Which tour? I played all four rounds of CC already, and the lighting was fine.

This gun's for hire Even if we're just golfin' in the dark In all seriousness, what tour are we talking about here?

I watched my mate playing the first round of CC on twitch and it did look dark but that could equally be his twitch settings the rest looked ok.

Is the OP using HDR? I only ask because when I first started using it I found it very dark but I turned the brightness up in the menu to 300-400 and now it’s perfect, even in low light

Since Covid and i started designing on a cheap pc on a laptop, I noticed a hell of a lot courses look fine on PC but when i come to play them on Xbox One they were way too dark in places, Now it could be its my console/tv setting compared to pc (NO HDR etc)but i do understand what the original post is saying, it is part of the reason i don't submit my courses to tgc tours database because when you design a real course a lot goes into playability wise all over the course with the lighting and its near impossible to get right in every place due to the poor lighting in the tgc brand. I think you can blame the game more than the people who sets the course up.Just a personal point of view as a designer not a player i preferred it when you could not alter course conditions and play the course as the designer intended (Good or Bad).
PS.Should also note since HB changed it so you could not set up 4 different set ups per event like how it used to be, you can't really blame the people who set events up to alter conditions for some variety etc, because i find playing 4 rounds round any course very hard work to do and i don't understand how players do it these days.

I play in CC, and practice in Kinetic, and didn't have a problem with either of them. In fact, I remember thinking oh wow, the lighting is pretty awesome on one of them, can't remember which.
I play on pc/steam.

I play CC and day one was definitely a very dark start in the morning. It got somewhat lighter on the back nine. Day two was much better lit. I'm on PC/Steam, no HDR.
