Realised I had to get my first 2 round in tonight and haven't played the game since Friday. Not too bad tee to green, an under hit 3 wood on 6 and a poor aim on 9 with driver for an OB cost me 3 strokes but apart from that pretty solid. My putting was average, seemed to be giving too much break to every putt. Round 2 hole 3, awful sidehill lie in the bunker that shot way right even though I aimed way left straight in the dink for another needless double. Awesome play by Craig / Hendomedes this week on TST , he also ripped up the Old Course on TLT this week, Craig is playing some awesome sim golf atm.

Sorry Frans fransslabak but that's me done. And it's not the legend swing, I like that and would like to see it implemented on the Pro Tours. But I'll never get on with the putting in this format. I quit after the third of fourth 4 putt (I lost count!!) on the last 2 rounds. It's totally down to me, I just want a bit of quick fun on great courses. The courses here are first class but the fun element, for me, is zero because I can't fathom the putting. I gave it a go at least. Good luck going forward. I played your ghost round 1 Ben, though you had some hiccups the main cause of the dropped shot was aggressive putting. I don't play grids but there is no way I would be hitting the putts that hard on 141 greens. One thing I have always been pretty good on is putt weight and as you hit those putts a lot softer you just have to give way more break. Unlike 2K21 you just can't smash them into the hole. It feels more like real golf, I do think the faster green speed the downhill roll just gets a bit silly but after 2 rounds the set up here is A+ I am assuming the aggressive putting comes from playing grids mostly Ben, you just can't be that aggressive with no grids as it is more like real golf where you never want a return putt of 5 to 8 foot. Play more weight putting and I really think you'll enjoy TST, your long game is pretty sharp. Sharp enough to keep dumping it in the water. Got my angles better after that. The putting will always be an issue to me. My eyesight isn’t the best and I simply don’t see the slopes, so I look at which way the flag is leaning, hit and hope!! I realise I’m too aggressive on the putting. Same happened in Rounds 3 and however far I got in Round 4. I’ve tried but it’s just not for me. I do get why a lot of you enjoy it, and wish the society all the success in the world. But when it comes to a choice of Forza or frustration, the little pixel cars win every time!!

I understand what you mean. For me I have so little time atm as I am working so many weekends also, I struggle to get the TST,TLT and TAN rounds each week let alone get the TAN handicaps and TLT leaderboards in each week. I do think I'd be much better here if I played the game more and practiced more but I love the immersion of the sim tours including now TST and that's the most important thing for me , what you score is just a number really. It is really fun for me, shooting double figure rounds each week is not immersion, it's golf and challenge is important to me. Working away in Portsmouth next week so I have downloaded Forza Motorsport to my ROG Ally, am bringing my 15 inch 1080p 144hz monitor also so will look forward to playing the game on the handheld

Knew that last round would cost me. Well played to Oober. If anyone wants to shoot -50 to make it feel less like I bottled it... feel free! 😀
I haven't touched a golf club this week thanks to Forza. Could go either way on Sunday...

Could go either way on Sunday... Well… given the course we’re playing, I’d advice against either way and go for 3 iron off the tee and hit it straight. 😎

Anyway Anthony Horan is gonna hit a 59 in round 4 to put you out of your misery

Tbh I am really disappointed how quiet all forums are now. I remember on USE nearly everyone commented on their rounds we had up to 100 posts on each tourney, it is now just get those rounds in it seems, isn't it all just getting a little stale now on forums?. We need some streams and people to get involved. Anyway really enjoyed this week and that's what it's all about for me, immersion and it certainly was, great course and set up again. Round 3 and 4 target was to catch fransslabak and it was getting close but just a bit too far away at the end. Front 9 I struggled but was 10 under for the back. Hole 9 can do one as it destroyed my tourney, rounds 1 and 3 I was actually aiming my drive OB which resulted in 2 double bogeys, just poor alignment. I struggled on birdie chance putting this week but burned so many edges and so many chips were so close to dropping, just one of those weeks where nothing dropped. Also love the stats, but Doyley isn't bunkers hit a totally pointless stat when we could have proximity to the hole or long putt (over 10ft) percentage instead which gives much more info how someone has actually played their round. I know we can delve deeper to get this info but under scorecards we should have proximity to hole at least. .

Yeah it's a shame how quiet it is around here lately. I assume the discord is a lot more active though but I much prefer using a forum to discord. Kind of why I joined The Brew Crew because those guys have a great group and are really active. Tbf I did mean to post about each round on here because it makes it a bit more fun and I genuinely loved that course but Forza happened 😬 then at quiet times i always worry I'm doing people's head in talking nonsense haha but I'm absolutely loving this season on TST so far.

R1: E R2: +7 R3: +7 R4: +4
Tot: +18
Started out really well only missing 1 putt inside 10 feet and staying out of the water. 2nd round couldn't stay dry and putting started to go haywire. Only missed 2 inside of 10ft but one was inside 5. I was Pulling everything left and weight was all over the place. Took a few days off instead of powering through. Just finished my last two rounds with no warm-up and paid dearly for it. Couldn't stay dry in round three and only made two putts between 4 and 10 ft, missed my only 5fter. Somehow sunk a 26ft eagle and and a 44 ft birdie. I lipped two and missed so many midrange putts where I read it correctly but either left it short or hammered it or pulled it. 4th round was fine to start until i lost my putting again. settled down after the 5th hole but imploded with a water ball and three putt on 18 for a 7. I think I matched my lifetime total of 3 putts within 10ft this tournament, one of which came after narrowly missing a 70ft eagle but leaving a 7ft downhill putt for birdie.
The sim immersion is great but I need to stop being so aggressive off the tee, warm-up, and slow down while playing. Definitely need to practice putting. The narrower swing plane is eating me alive on the greens and then I completely lose it. My scores are about where they were at the start of last season, just need to play more to dial everything in on Legend. Course was a blast to navigate.

Round 1: E Round 2: -6 Round 3: -2 Round 4: -5
Really enjoying playing Legend and wish I had the time still to keep up with the other Legend societies but I do prefer 4 round events and supporting the main tours. A little bit more consistency this week and hit an ace in Round 4 Hole 12 which feels amazing at this difficulty!
