I'm going to play on the PGA tour this season. Well, virtually, that is.
It'll start next week doing the Fall Series at the Fortinet Championship and progress through the entire season. Playing TGC Master settings. I won't participate in the specials like the Ryder Cup or any other match play events, just the stroke play ones.
The hard part is the number crunching in weeks I make the cut. I'll have to adjust payouts and FedEx point to reflect what I would make on each. Any player that makes the cut and earns FedEx points each event won't get bumped by my presence on a leaderboard.
Problem is, what do I do if a course isn't present in the HB/2K database? Play one close or skip that week? Anyone tried something like this before?

Used to do this in a similar fashion with "Solo Societies" in TGC 2019, where you could set up an entire society just to play in yourself - against 100% customizable AI competitors. I renamed the AI players to match most of the real pros, and you could adjust their skill level, too. I used RCRs as often as possible. There will likely be a lot of them in the game, but most will not be great, so that's another consideration. Heck, even some of the 2K/HB official real courses are barely useable on some conditions... Any time there was an event without a good exact RCR of the host course, I chose one that was either very similar in style or very close geographically to the actual host course. Good luck!

Thanks! It seems, at least for the Fortinet, that I ran lucky. Doing a quick check of courses in game, someone has recently posted a Silverado North Course. Yardage seems to be a bit extreme, but at least it checks the boxes you suggested. Let's see how I do.
