Tbh I didn't have a problem with round 4 settings, it was playable with some holes being darkish but on Craig's stream it looked really dark. I know we have the same TV but it might be different on consoles. It wasn’t just AS dark as on stream but it was tough to see. I have tried everything and I have no idea why it seems to be just so bad for me. I haven’t changed anything on the settings. Was a nice course again though! Honestly, I had about 5 chips in heavy rough where I couldn't see the club. Of course, If I ended up on the greens I wouldn't have written this post. 😁😁😁

Season Zone 2 Week 4 Final PC Leaderboard PCers not in the same league as most of the Xboxers and we await to see how the PSers do. hammers1man, harveydog50 and myself started well and then our games went to a different course, better from ChipsforAces as Jay improved each round.

Lovely course(and lighting haha) this week. I’m -8 thru the first nine of round two. Really enjoyed it. I had a weird issue. I pushed my first drive into the right rough. Game crashed. When I loaded up it put me centre of the fairway. Couldn’t really have done anything about it but apologies for that! Took longpole as a ghost and had a great round between us.

Enjoyed playing Japan this week! Spent most of it doing damage control after bombing R1.

It is very rare for me to play more than one round of tournament at a time and these days I only play the game on 4 days, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as I haven't been designing much with this version of the game. So unless I am doing a catch up either because of illness or being away, I play USX R1 on Thursday, R2 on Saturday, R3 on Sunday and R4 on Tuesday, TST I do Sun, Tues, Thurs, Sat. TAN I do as it becomes available and if I want to play the course. Simulation Tour I'll do as it becomes available and if I want to play the course. On top of that on Sundays I mess about doing one round on all TGCTours Tournaments if I want to play the course.
I'm not a fan of playing 2K official courses in private societies, playing them in career mode or on a one off when they are released is enough for me, but I know they are sometimes a necessary evil if you want to follow the PGA Tour schedule and then it is my choice if I play or not. I am not belittling anybody's course selection in their societies just informing you all that you may not see me in every tournament at Legend Simulation level.
Cheers guys enjoy all the Legend Sim Tours.

Cheers guys enjoy all the Legend Sim Tours. There are few half decent 2K courses with realistic pins, but most are not as good as they should be as the stupid pin locations are designed for grids. But if a course is good it deserves to be played on ultra sim settings HB course or otherwise. I used to feel the same about fictional courses, that we should be only playing RCR's but we will then be missing out as there are a few really good fictional courses that play like real courses (hate the fantasy stuff though)

Crammed 3 rds in today after Thursdays +4 start and got hot rds 2 n 3. Rd 4 was a roller coaster of birds and bogies. Look forward to the next tourney.

I think this society would get more traction on PS if it was 2 x round events.

I think this society would get more traction on PS if it was 2 x round events. It probably would Mark, but that is not the idea I wanted for this society. You have numerous societies that do 2 round weekly events whether at Legend or Master difficulty with or without grids, I wanted to set up a society to play at the most difficult in-game setting of 2.50x without grids and play tournament length events where the conditions, except TOD and weather, was never the same through the 4 rounds and on RCR/Lidar courses from around the world and that is what I set up on my playing area the PC. Longpole (Neil) was intrigued by this set up and volunteered to do it for Xbox, hammers1man (Paul) tried it out on PC and volunteered to run it on PS, this made me happy for it to be made available on all three platforms for people to try it if they feel like it, if 4 rounds is too much then that is that individuals decision, but for the remainder of this game this society is a 4 round legend level no grid society, discussions of the possible way forward in the next version of this game will be done as that time draws near. All I have asked Mark, is for people to give it a go, if it doesn't fit it to your playing schedule/style so be it. Cheers Dave
