From Thursday January 11th Season Zone 2 Week 4 Myanmar, we visit Pun Hlaing - Myanmar by Jonathan Maher, tees and conditions link in the OP. Final PC Leaderboard for Zone 2 Week 3 will be posted by me tomorrow, Xbox Leaderboard by longpole and PS Leaderboard by hammers1fan. Special note: Don't annoy the Generals during your visit as I understand the restoration work on the Burma Railway is short of workers . Just played R1 of Myanmar. Great course! Looking forward to seeing what you've set up for us in the remaining rounds, Dave.

5 started and 3 finished on Playstation, which actually isn't bad as that's the same amount who finished the last TAN tournament on PS and this tournament was 4 roundsđ.

Once I put the driver in the bag on the short p4's it was smooth sailing. I also had several eagles, a few very short putt eagles also. Good course.

Just learning a New Controller. No Worries here fella's. I ran into some technical difficulties on a couple holes last Week. ( I carded a couple 10 strokes on couple rounds.) and So i decided to get some different Clubs in the game. did not realize it makes a big difference for me on tempo. I am now using a top of the line controller and sorting out tempo. and club distances. My score is getting better. I really enjoy playing the game on the hardest difficulty. I am learning the ropes here. feel that i am making progress with the new equipment. thanks for the concern. all is well. progress is slow but I am very happy, learning tempo for the Pitch shots is going to take some time. lol. Just need to find some decent timing and my game will come together. thanks for the concern. Im having a blast. on the courses. thank you. Im very proud of my + 3 round this week

You can also pick rhythm fittings to make that tempo box even larger. This will result in more forgiveness for off perfect shots. For example all my woods and irons have swingplane fittings as that is my weakness in the game but my wedges are all based with tempo fittings as that is more important for the short game than swingplane. Also if you're struggling with pitch shot tempo this is probably because the game auto intents your shots from a certain distance. This is to make partial shots easier but it also shifts the tempo to a required slower tempo. You can reset this on your pitch shots by changing to any club and then back to your required club. What this does is it resets the intent to 100% again so you can hit that pitch shot at your normal calibrated tempo. Also for the short game learn to hit a slower tempo. For greenside bunkers especially within 20 yards I pull down three quarters on the loft and spin sliders to get more height and control out of the sand as the ball will roll out too much otherwise, just remember you need to hit a bit harder also when you do this. This will shrink the swing and tempo meters but if you practice these shots your scrambling percentage will rise. I really recommend hitting the chipping green and practice those partial chips, flop, blast and pitch shots. From repeating the same shots over and over you really start to gain a muscle memory for the short game from different distances. Hope some of these tips help and great to see you back on the sim society tours again, been a while. Great to see your game improving each week.

Hi Bova Can I be cheeky Dave there's been a few rds lately where the light is pretty dark and can be quite tricky , think Craig has streamed a couple but it's hard to see . So can I have a request on the conditions please , if I see a dawn or dusk can I change them . Ex . Dawn change to morning and dusk change to afternoon . Don't think it will change or alter game play or anything but I'm sure it will help with seeing , may be worse on xbox ?

The problem is rainy and overcast don't go well with the dusk or dawn settings (it is very dark) reminds me of my twilight golf walking up the 18 hoping your ball hit the fairway, it would be an idea to change those condition to different times of the day Bova Kian . Just to let you know @craigh1989 it isn't your TV or HDR settings as we have the same TV's. Also I think dusk and dawn settings can look great but I would stick to clear for that time of day also or maybe light cloud.

Tbh I didn't have a problem with round 4 settings, it was playable with some holes being darkish but on Craig's stream it looked really dark. I know we have the same TV but it might be different on consoles.

longpole @hammers1man I'll take a look at all the questionable TOD & Weather situations for the remainder of Zone 2 and for Zone 3 tomorrow (Monday) and let you know of any changes, though it will amend the totally randomised conditions set up to the not quite totally randomised conditions set up, but I do want you to play and see what your playing so you can get some enjoyment of these mad conditions.

longpole @hammers1man Zone 2 condition amendments done in Red on the spreadsheet, one major one is a change of course on the final week of Zone 2 as the lighting settings of the original course were too low to the horizon as any TOD other than default or noon not being viable. Zone 3 will be reviewed over the next few weeks and Zone 4 will be prepped taking the lighting situation into close consideration.

I know we have the same TV but it might be different on consoles. It wasnât just AS dark as on stream but it was tough to see. I have tried everything and I have no idea why it seems to be just so bad for me. I havenât changed anything on the settings. Was a nice course again though!
