Sometimes, history is meant to repeat itself and well...
R3: -5 for some good stuff at the back end again.
R4: well it was -5, -2 for first two! Here it's -5, +2. I was +4 thru first 3 because I don't know why my shots were that bad and putting went south fast... when you 3 putt all 3 of those first holes uhhhh.... and one more later... two hole outs though! And after the first 3 I was -1... last round of the season syndrome where playing so many tours for 42 weeks and one more for about half of that is just getting too much?
Probably just short of one more top 25 notch for the season.
Well that's that for the season. For how it started the first month or so, I would have never guessed what would come later. 17 top 25 finishes if this week doesn't bring one (still could happen but unlikely), previously I had had a grand total of... 2. Both from the last season when things were on pro. The season has also given me a lot of good, from notching 2 wins when the flights still managed to be a thing, from first upping my best finish at Sawgrass and then tying that twice in the next month for my easily best stretch of TST golf. Then the week after the US Open again bettered my best finish by 1. Then tied that at the Scottish, where I also finished top of the PC platform for probably my best achievement yet. And finally to start the playoffs, one more good week when things were looking shakier for me for my current best finish, having pushed that up by 4 places this season... finally a top 10 at this rate next season? For how little I was expecting to be of anything notable, I think this season has finally broken me through to be at least something at this form of playing the game. Even though it probably took the full season to do so, you have to be something if you're top 30 of the money list by the final week.
Cheers for the season, I will surely return for more. As much as it might drive me up the wall every now and then. Until then, cheers and best of luck when the time to start comes again!
