Does anyone know who I can speak to about entering my score for Q school? I started in May and played two rounds and entered my score now it switched to June and I had to start over. I'm not sure how to enter my score because it says round 3 when it should say round 1. Thanks Always best to email commish@tgctours.com - we'll create a ticket and be able to keep track of it there.

Don't know if I should have went to bed and lost my focus, or the course setup got much harder round two, but I shot -10 round 1, including being I think Even the last 6 holes or so, and then came back with a stellar +1 in round 2. Had a couple blowup holes and then a bunch of putts that burnt the rim all round. Needless to say, Rounds 3 and 4 weren't much better. I was pretty much in a catatonic state at that point after my Round 2 disaster.

I think I should safely qualify for the US Open, but if I play like my last 3 rounds in this tourney, I may retire like Anthony Kim. The only difference being I don't get an insurance check for over $20M for quitting permanently.

Getting more and more annoyed each day the update isn't out for the wind waiting.
Courses like this are magnificent, and will be an amazing test once everyone is playing under the same conditions.

I'm beyond frustrated at the wind patch thing. I'm out of town from Thursday until the end of the weekend. And had events last night, and tonight. So I had literally 2 windows of time between Saturday and Thursday in which to get the 4 rounds here, and the 4 rounds for the US Open qualifying. Not complaining, I was happy with what I did in both.
But the US Open Qualifying was particularly frustrating. After I got home last night, thought I would play one quick game before bed... and had a 10 shot swing improvement over my R3 US Open Qualifying round... largely due to much more favourable winds. My scores were already in and posted... but what's frustrating is just how much of a factor it can be.
It never ceases to amaze me that they built the game with tournaments in mind from the start (hence the play round, play tour, play tournament tabs) and yet didn't think about the wind factor at all... especially since the game has cartoon wind physics. (beyond playing in a typhoon, has anyone ever had a pitch shot move noticeably side to side due to wind in real golf?)
Sorry. Rant over.

Got my first two rounds in. Too many sloppy bogeys or it could have been really nice. Was probably flirting with the cut line after bogeys on 10 and 11 second round - but managed to find some game over the last holes. Quite happy with the birdies on 8 in first round and 18 in second round - those are not the easiest on the course . Dropped a 25-foot breaker downhill on nine in round 2 as well. Hairiest moment so far was on 4 first round where I picked the aggressive play but overcooked the hook and hit the left tree. Ball bounced dead left, knocked another tree and settled deep in the woods. Somehow managed to hack a 9I out and salvage a bogey, so the big number has stayed away so far. Still 36 holes left....

Did a similiar thing @ No 4 in Round 4, luckily for me the ball bounced dead right and i ended with a perfect line through the trees to the pin. Sand Wedge and a putt later i walked off with a 3.
It's funny, when you're cursing yourself for missed birdie chances and stupid bogies you automatically forget the occasions where you got REALLY lucky ;-)

First ≈13 Holes: -10 Last ≈59 Holes:-5 I'm not sure if this experience was more of a traumatic or comical one for me. I will say I was definitely fumed last night.

I felt I played a bit better each round. But weakest round was round 1. And I don't know if -9 after R1/R2 will be enough to make the weekend. Initially I thought it would... but now I don't know.

All I wish to say is that, for this very brief moment in my TGCT career, I'm higher on the leaderboard than the #1 and #3 players in the world!! WOOOOHOOOO!! I'm effing retiring right now!!!

Think you'll be fine. The Friday pins appear to have beaten up a lot of people. On the PS4 Leaderboard at least only about 10/40 who have finished the first 2 rounds have broken -10

Thanks. I found R2 the easiest of the 4 to be honest. (no idea why) So I figured I would lose ground with the R2 reveal, which would likely push me outside the cut. From what you're saying, maybe I'll gain some ground and be safe. Hope so... had decent R3/R4s, would hate to see them go to waste.

I got 6 birds in R2 and still ended up shooting a 78. 14th hole did me in. Approach shot seemed pretty close but the ball slid off to the left and then that was it. Tried everything to keep in on the green but it just came right back like a YoYo.

Though luck there - 14 can hurt, but it's a gimme birdie in round one so wanted to give it some teeth in round 2 so everyone had a chance to see the other face of the hole. Has been tested from various place around the gren though and there is a shot. May be a chip, may be a half hit pitch or even downlofted flop. That pin is always used for the club championship every year IRL. Little bit thougher in game maybe - but it's a "do or die" wedge in both cases.
