the key here was playing it left to the adjacent fairway. Must admit, I followed you over there for the first 3 rounds, as I was playing with your ghost for the first 2 (as well as Jules). Wind changed direction in the 4th, slightly behind. By then I was in "don't care now" mode, and went to hit it over the water. Splash! Oops. Yeah - have seen that approach to the hole. Should have blocked that path but didnt see it. However, not sure it's any benefit over the traditional play. Certainly not in all rounds. That tee is probably the weakest of the new ones as the approach over the barn is a bit unconventional as well.

-25 for me.
Round 1 - 61. Solid. Silly bogey at 11 3 putting from behind the pin and another at 13 after i hooked it into the left rough, but 11 birdies is a good effort.
Round 2 - 66. Was -3 through 3 but then hit a brick wall, seemed to be either missing birdie chances or scrambling for par at every hole.
Round 3 - 63. Front 9 was mixed. Bogied 2 with some disastrous putting plus 8 and 9. Then went -6 on the Back 9.
Round 4 - 65. Other way round. -5 for the front 9 and even for the back.
Think Top 25 is a serious possibility with my score but of the 10 bogies i had at least 5 were avoidable and i feel i should have got to -30 at least. But, at least i avoided the big numbers others have had.

I don't even know what I'm doing on the Euro tour with you guys. I shot 68, 70. Can't putt to save my life. It's getting frustrating knowing that I won't ever come close to you guys.

Shot -3 -2 in first 2 rounds. Probably my first missed cut in 3 months. Definitely the toughest course we have had on tour that didnt have lightning quick greens. Not sure what was so difficult about but I just couldn't get on a role. I would get a couple birdied in a row and follow it up with a couple bogies. Time to start practicing for next week

Okay... this is going to be a missed cut for me. But it's my own fault, as I didn't want to believe I couldn't handle that course! I never got really comfortable with it. After shooting a nice practice round on the PGA-course I should have made the switch, but I didn't. Lesson learned hopefully! Started with an average -4 in Round 1, which could have been still good enough to make the cut. Then I started into R2, and the disaster was about to begin: I had 4-5 putts that just went over the edge of the hole on the first holes, and I was already pretty annoyed. Even Par after #8, and then I got to Hole #9. My approach from ~160y was just a few inches too short, ran of the green and left me with a 16y shot to the pin. 3 shots later I was still in the same place after spinning back no matter how much I lofted the club. Made the Triple Bogey and for the very first time in my personal TGC-history, I was about to rage quit and smash my controller into the wall. Finally decided to finish the round. I did quiet well then on the back nine (3 birdies), before making another Bogey on Hole #18 in horrible headwind. Finalized R2 with a 71 (+1). As said before, lesson learned. Next time I'm not getting any feeling for a course (no matter how well/interesting it is designed), just go for the alternative (tour). Trying to quickly forget about this, and preparing for my "home event" (Lyoness Open) and the US Open now!

Round 2 is the tougher of the pin set-ups in these first two rounds. Based on the scores so far I'm gonna say that the cut line will be somewhere above -10 and it may even go as high as -7 or -6. So if you are in that range, don't go anywhere yet.

That's about the range I was guessing too in a private conversation with mcbogga. Especially R2 is going to torture plenty of players I guess.

Does anyone know who I can speak to about entering my score for Q school? I started in May and played two rounds and entered my score now it switched to June and I had to start over. I'm not sure how to enter my score because it says round 3 when it should say round 1.
Thanks
