Contest #5 - NERD! - August 9th - September 6th

Contest Challange:

Build a 6 hole plot (Par 24) that are each creative interpretations of Template Holes. Pick 1 different template as the hole design concept inspiration for each of the 6 holes.

The 6 holes should have variety and interest while implimenting the deisgn elements of the Templates in creative ways. Unique concepts within the general strategy of a Template will be looked for by the judges. The overall design strategy of the hole should be faithful to that of the template, but how you achieve that is up to you as the designer. 

Research:

I highly suggest watching b101 's Youtube playlist on Template design strategues to make sure you understand each of them that you are chosing to impliment.



You are ALSO allowed to use his "non-template" templates at the end of the playlist for your course if you wish as well. There are a few templates not highlighted here as well but located below on other sites that may be used.

Instructions:

You may begin now! When you are completed please comment in this thread and tag myself and list out the the template for all 6 holes. Please title the course “DL4.5_[Forum name]” when you publish. Greens must have 4 pins. The judging is for 6 holes and 6 holes only. If you make any more holes you will only be judged on the first 6.

All courses must be published by September 6th 11 pm PST. I will go by when you post in the forums to check this.

Dl4.5 Crossers7 is published. Minimal planting but is tree lined and is in swiss theme. Templates are 1, Leven. 2,Cape. 3,Maiden. 4, Biarritz. 5 Lion's Mouth. 6, Knoll.

DL4.5 terpshoops was published with 1 minute to spare.

Up against the clock with this one, so maybe not my best, but someone had to give Crossers some competition!
