Welcome to the last week of the regular season here on Kinetic, unless of course the admins have changed something and not told us but based on the last few years, lets call this the last week of the regular season. We are heading to Riverhead Hollow by whodatmatt34. There is a little bit of a interesting history behind this course because after the death of Ichabod Crane at Sleepy Hollow(or did he die) the headless horseman decided he had had enough of the villagers and there strange ways and decided he wanted to retire from the haunting business and move somewhere a bit more peaceful, maybe play some golf, not have to deal with ghost hunters, witches and hippies who seemed to think they had the right to find, summon or plan rituals around him. So he moved to Riverhead Hollow, the problem was golf is a frustrating sport at the best of times, playing golf with out of head, well that can lead to angry outbursts worse than a kinetic player on faster greens. The worse his scores got, the angrier he became and finally after missing a tap in par on the 13th, he had enough, if he could not play golf at Riverhead Hollow, no one could. He become vengeful and started attacking anyone who dared to play a round at the golf course with the 13th hole becoming his main ambush spot, his goal, to take the head of a golfer to use as his own. Soon the stories of the headless golfer spread and Riverhead Hollow went from a stunning parkland course to a golf course surrounded by waste areas and bunkers, with no greens keepers willing to work on the course, the sand blew everywhere, creating more and more wasteland which ironically turned the course into a bigger challenge than it originally was. For generations the course was empty of players until 2023 when one brave soul got offered a great deal to bring a Kinetic tour event there. So this week, no only do you have to deal with sand, wind, difficult lies, there is a genuine chance you could literally lose your head. Should be a fun week to see who makes it to the play offs, in some ways, this could be week one of the play offs because those that die, will not qualify for next week, never in the history of the kinetic has the cut become so important.
Actually there is another issue this week, it seems a bunch of ice hockey fans have decided to use the kinetic as there own personal playground and have set up one of these so called community event using this tour. This is happening with out my payment, I mean permission and I am working on getting this sorted. For now though, if you see one of these people and you can tell who there are by there loud mouthed aggression, drunken behavior and the strange attire they are wearing, do not approach them because the chances are they will want to fight. There could also be extra divots on the course this week caused by the skates they wear and they may try freeze over some of the greens to create skating rinks, which of course will make putting very difficult, as well as it being hard to stop approach shots, if you see a frozen green, avoid using spin. So a lot for you guys to deal with this week, but you are kinetic players, the best of the average here on tgctours, I am sure you can handle it, good luck, have fun and I will see you at the playoffs.
