Hi,
On my last design "Estate Heights" I have the object gauge to 100% and as I want to decline it in a tour version with more objects I wonder why this gauge is so high.
In fact, there are a nice amount of objects but almost no grasses, no rocks (but a lot of houses, see the picture). It seems to me that I have made some courses rather more heavily planted than this one.
Could there be hidden objects which fill the gauge or is it a bug in the course file (I reloaded the published course and the new has the same gauge).
Any clue ?
Thank you.
Dominique

Well, you’ve used a lot of the plot, so that is part of it. Routing holes closer together means that planting can serve multiple holes rather than just one.
Secondly, certain objects take up more meter - especially the new trees, new houses and all cars. Lose those first.
Finally, multiplanting objects uses more meter than individual grasses or trees that cover the same area. Same with spline planting - avoid both of those.

Hi,
I saved 10% by deleting a single tree's spline. Not very large nor dense, but I think the spline was somehow twisted.
Thank again for the tip.

Splined planting uses a TON of meter. That's your issue. Never spline planting.

I saved over 10% by changing themes.my meter went from 42% to 32%, the lowest I’ve seen using LiDAR.

Never spline planting. Nice option for slackers like me though...
