Does anyone know of a good method for reading your foot lie? I find if it is not obvious I have no idea what's gonna happen. Sometimes I'm baffled by the direction he ball goes?!?!

I was watching SloanerTW's twitch a few days ago and he gets the putter out and zoom into the club head to check the lie before taking a shot. I have since taken up this practice and is working alot better for me, not always perfect though but has improved my accuracy tenfold.

Ahh the old TW you had to literally look at a camera angle or something to get the lie to show up before you would putt with the assists off lol. It would show ball above/below feet so you knew how the green would break with the beads off on the hardest setting. I guess that would work for this game although there is no readout you just have to guess. It feels like the ball does whatever it wants anyways as i've noticed even off the tee the ball sometimes starts left or right immediately even though I had a perfect straight swing.

It will probably be your back swing mate. I know it is for me. Don't mind so much as I usually correct with aiming slightly right as ball always seem to left. even my swing finishes slightly to the left most swings. Good to be consistent lol

I've given up on trying to figure out the foot lie. Unless it is very obvious and even then it does the opposite of what I thought it was going to do

I change the camera (PS4, R3) to see the lie at his best. From then on it's a feel thing.

Ya I tried that and thought it worked but after awhile I got the same results. Even if that view wasn't perfect I wish it where consistent

I've been baffled by this a lot lately too. There's been times when it's clear as day that the ball is above/below my feet yet when I hit it, it goes perfectly straight like it was a flat level lie. Other times it'll look flat but I'll miss 10y left/right of where I'm aiming with a straight shot so I can only assume it was the lie.
