First proper rounds back in a while and started out hot. Slowed down in R3 and 4 so i expect -39 to be beaten. Fun course and good use of conditions. Thumbs up from me

R1 -9 with a 53ish foot eagle putt, a hole out to save par after a tee shot in the water, 6/10 over 10ft with 3 of those over 20. only 5 missed putts
R2 -4 with 2 3-putts including a miss from 4 feet that went dead straight even when it looked like a decent break
R3 +1 couldn't buy a putt, missing 13
R4 -8 with no bogies
Tot -20
Lost my tempo middle of round 2 and didn't find it again until hole 7 of round 4. Went -8 from 7 through 15. I think I'm finally reading the greens and leaving full shots for my approaches instead of struggling with partials. Waiting for my inevitable regression back to a par player but enjoying the hot streak for now!

So I get a call in the middle of the night from my grounds keeper about you all blowing up my course with some good scores, TAKE IT EASY and replace your dadgum divots!!!!  Seriously though, I'm glad and appreciative that you all are using it and appear to be liking the course .... fairways and greens! |

I don't even understand what is going on with me anymore. Oh wait, I do... being worked to absolute drainage and then having very little energy left leaves me hanging with a single brain cell to play virtual golf with, which results in...
E, -10 for first 2. No prizes for guessing my total through 2. How do you go from knowing nothing at all and being unable to score to putting up one of the better rounds across the field in next to no time in between?
Well who the heck knows what the next rounds bring... probably a meh average to balance it all out?

+3 in round 3... after being +7 thru 11 holes. No tempo to speak of, green reading was awful. Ironically, there was also a near 40 footer thrown in, because of course!
-6 round 4. Much better, no idea what changed that fast!
-13 total. What a weird, strange week. Flashes of something great here and there, and something truly awful too. Bring on next week I suppose.

Started off strong with a -6 before a couple frustrating and sloppy rounds in the middle. Decided to sit my squirmy baby on my lap for a casual final round and somehow pulled off a 9 under round for a -19 under total. Golf is strange!

The Camiral Stadium course sounds like an exciting challenge – just like Europe's version of Sawgrass. Kudos to Bacon Junkie 1 for bringing this masterpiece to life! And remember, it's all about strategy, folks. Time to dive into that caddie book and maybe give the driver a break here and there. Who knows what kind of surprises Spain has in store for us?
