How many of you guys use this ?
I never have and my putting used to be great … but I am being told I will never be good on this version of the game without it.
Is that true ?

First thing I did when grabbing this game was turning the vibration off .
There's no better feeling in this game then lagging a 70ft putt to 2ft WITHOUT vibration practice and learn the putts WHY do u need a vibrator to tell u when to putt and to shiver , I suppose to make it easy or easier .
One of my biggest grumps in this game is why isn't it in the difficulty settings to turn off in society play as I think it's quite an aid tbh but saying that I would find it a hindrance to myself . Look at horusphoenix , no vibration and I rate him as the best xbox player in this lovely world . So that tells a story you can play without vibration

When I first got the game, I played with vibration on but found myself focusing on that instead of the putt, i spent to much time anticipating the vibration and not enough time on the putt itself. After awhile, I turned vibration off and this worked better for me. This might not be for everyone though, you should find what works best for you, play the game the way you enjoy it the most, for me it is with vibration off.

All about the feel and learning the pace when considering green speed. I never have, and never will play with vibration. |

I could get used to the vibration when putting but it's also there when hitting normal shots and that just throws me off.

I think I had it on for the first few days of 2K23 just to get a feel for the partial shots. I found it extremely off putting when putting. You've been here a while like the rest of us and have never used it before. You don't need to now. I think most of the guys who need it on haven't been using this mechanic since TGC1. |

Never used vibration on 2K21 or 2K23, why?. Because putting through feel for distance is the best part of this game. Like EA's game do we need to have markers, backstops or vibration to tell us how hard to hit a putt? Do we need a practice putt or even a marker to help us with putting. Of course not, the more aids you use the less skill required.
Love the putting on this game because there is no hand holding, it is awesome so why ruin it with artificial aids.
You have done fine without it, hitting a 80 foot putt to tap in range is great and all about feel. Stick with how you play the game and enjoy the challenge.

I don't even do those little tricks like pull the club to the back foot for a 30 foot putt, etc etc etc. I know that works for others but my entire game is feel. That includes my "reading" (or guessing LOL) of the beads. It's not, nor will it ever will be math to me. Takes away from the fun. I see it, judge it, hit it, hope for the best lol. |
