Hey coursedesignHQ,
Just finished a playthrough at Tawari Toro.Great job.s Started with 2 bogies but finished -5. Great sight lines and framing.Texturing is excellent and the minimal planting under the trees is well done and consistent.Time of day gives some great colouring.A few holes had some shadows but nothing distracting.I found the green sloping very fair if you hit to the right spot.I have to say I hit driver on all those tight fairways which was a challenge.Awesome job.Good luck in the contest.

Fun round played Firm Firm Fast hit Driver except on all the 3's. Got lucky. Very nice course good job.

b101 Thank you so much for the play through Ben! Lots of great feedback here, I will definitely be using that in my future designs. I feel like the part I need to work on the most is my greens. I was trying to create strategy with tiers that didn’t really work out. I’m glad you liked the 9th hole and 14th hole, those were two of my favorite holes as well. It kinda seemed that your favorite holes were the ones without tiers  Again thank you for the play through and I’m glad you approved of the one car in the parking lot

Yeah, it's not that they were 'bad' by any means; just that any idea repeated too often is going to eventually hurt more than it helps. Rather than focusing on what I didn't like so much, I'd consider what you did on those two greens that I liked: what options did they allow that the others didn't, how did they allow for slight misses, what are the recovery options around the greens? Greens are the single most important part of a course. If you want someone to study, I'd look at rjwils30 and grovey31 's courses. Both very different in their approaches, but give their courses a play and note green dimensions, shapes, sloping and how they fit with the hole whilst offering variety. Enjoy the rabbit hole - they both put out phenomenal stuff! |

Finally got to this a run and Owen this is for sure your best course yet. Great job and this will push hard to make it in the main field for sure.
