Was working on a course when my PC crashed. On re-load the course is now missing. D'oh! Lost a about 50 hours of work. Have been manually doing a copy/paste to a backup folder but it takes too long (I mean, who's got 30 seconds, right?), so I got lazy and didn't do it for about 2 weeks. Shame. I know you can likely use some sort of 3rd party software to do it, but I ended up just creating a one line BAT file (using robocopy) which does it and then created a desktop shortcut which executes it on doubleclick. You could also add it to Windows Task Scheduler but I think this shortcut scenario works nicely especially for multiple sessions in a day. I copy from the 2k23 course folder to a folder in dropbox which get updated in the cloud as well for redundancy. Here's the link to the article for anyone interested: www.ubackup.com/synchronization/scheduled-task-copy-files-to-another-folder-1021.html

Wow, that’s gotta hurt! I copy mine every morning and date stamp it before doing any work on it. Worse case I can go back to any date and start from there.
