Well, I've had EA's golf game since release and played it almost exclusively since. I really enjoyed it and think it has really good potential. BUT....here is what I've found going forward...I've been playing my rounds in TGCTours and enjoying the 2K23 more because of the gameplay, mainly the putting!!!!!!!!! But as much as I've struggled with 2K23 and continue to struggle, I just find it more fun and more rewarding. Yes, PGA Tour is pretty and their versions of courses look better, much better in some cases...it doesn't make up for the weird putting and easier gameplay. I think it's still a great game and a game I will continue to enjoy when I want to play a stress free round of video game golf. I almost feel like the two games should merge together and then we would have something crazy nice. I guess I'm writing this because I'm kind of shocked I feel this way. I didn't see this coming. When I was playing PGA Tour Golf, I thought I wouldn't be playing much of 2K23 anymore, but here we are. Just wondering if anyone else felt this way I guess?? Going forward I hope both games improve obviously...PGA 2K23 really does have a great game and if they can just build upon what they've done with better graphics, better designer options, new themes, better waterfall textures (LOL) and don't change putting we may be in for quite a game. PGA Tour Golf can be great too, but still needs some work with ball physics and PUTTING. The Golf Club OG out  |

Hope you don't mind me posting this here from the video's on youtube i agree with you ,but this is from a personal point of view if i played EA's Game and came to this it's the sort of thing which really puts me off, Crowds on the road Hole and using the wrong tee for the Open from last year.i know 1000s who play it does not bother but to me its a thing. Maybe in July ill give EA's Game a go i am missing my Golf fix at the moment how bad 2k23 is for me on the old xbox.   |

Not exactly an apples to apples comparison but Walkabout Mini Golf came out on PSVR 2 about a month ago and it’s easily the best golf game I’ve ever played. Sure it requires a VR headset to play it, but if you want a game that makes putting feel natural and realistic it’s the obvious choice. Putting in 2K23 just feels weird now and I’ve mostly lost the timing I was finally starting to build up.

I really enjoy playing The Golf Club VR still which is TGC1 in VR and golf buggies you can drive around the course like a madman 😂 It's a shame they never kept it going as a series as the potential for VR golf is huge and being able to play all great community made TGC1 courses in VR was awesome. VR motion controllers are perfect for a golf game, being about to watch a replay of your swing plane in TGC VR is awesome. I have Walkabout Mini Golf on the Quest 2, it's great fun especially playing with a friend online |
