Double checking - anyone using this on the PC side successfully? Or is this still really an XBox upgrade? SkyBlueBen may be able to help you on this. He has two. One for PC and ne for Series X Find it fantastic on PC but it must be calibrated. Extra polling points over and above MS controller. Swing line very sensitive though and hard to keep straight.

Demonondalinks, have just received my Wolverine V2 and you mention calibration in your original post. Do you think it is essential to calibrate ?? How did it perform straight out of the box ?? I know in the past I have read various posts about the merits of not calibrating the Microsoft controllers. Interested in your thoughts. Thanks As others have said, calibrate! Everything out of the box is slow. Calibrate and don't look back. I don't actually have a perfect, I have a slight tick fast and a slight tick slow. On the Pro setting they are both perfect, that's how close they are. I then have a grey miss each side which are inside where the grey misses were on the stock controller. So I have 4 results that are all better than my 'good' misses I had previously. And with it being wired the results are completely consistent, if you miss your tempo it's on you. Swing line is another matter, it's a lot harder than on the stock. But it feels right, and tempo is king in this game.

It's a wonderful combination of gray fast, occasional perfect, gray slow and a swing line that looks atrocious yet not outrageously penalizing. It's not target golf but to feel like we can actually COMPETE against PS and PC for the first time is very liberating, especially when you take the time to play and learn the nuances of the Wolverine.

Everything has been said. Here are the numbers that make such an improvement:
Xbox (ms) 125Hz Razor Wolverine 250-300 Hz PS 500 Hz
So as u can tell PS still about double the Hz then Razor, but the Razor is double the Xbox controller. It really is shocking to know how far behind Xbox was compared to now. We now have a controller only 1/2 as responsive as PS, but that used to be only 1/4 as responsive🤣😂

All great news !! So it is the XBox controller then and not a cobsole/controller or console only issue.
I wonder why MS wouldn’t manufacture a competitive controller like they have with their console. Surely this is impacting other games ??
Cheers everyone

PlayStation controllers work through Steam or third party apps. Certain games also have full support for Dual Sense 5 haptics and resistant triggers.

Cheers everyone I assume this controller still has the same 125hz polling rate as other Xbox controllers or is it 250hz?. Razer peripherals are very good, I have been using their Deathadder mice for years. Seems this controller is very well made with good stick sensitivity. Tbh I have no problem with the Series X controller on 99% of games I play. Just on this game it feels inconsistent for tempo. But like you say they are really lacking for competitive play as you want as little input latency as possible. Gaming mice and PS controllers are far superior on that front.

It's 250-350hz on the Razer. At least twice as good as the stock controller. And to be fair, it feels more than that. It's been quite an eye opener to play this game as it was intended. Just a shame we've got to spend £70 for the privilege!

I’ve had swing lines to the left of that centre line and a fast tempo that inexplicably fade.

Maybe better communication between controller and console. I have noticed on Series X since switching to the wired Razer my off tempo shots do not veer offline as much as my wireless controller did. The fast or slow grey zones.
