Hey all, I'm at a loss as to why my course Sindalah has disappeared out of the game.
It's not in my list of published courses and you can't search for it.

Hey all, I'm at a loss as to why my course Sindalah has disappeared out of the game. It's not in my list of published courses and you can't search for it. Could it be the name. Maybe HB pulled it at the request of the real developers of the island resort? Just a thought. Is it still in your designer file. You may need to rename it on a new publish. |

Being on PC has its benefits, wink wink. PC or Console best thing to do once published is keep a copy somewhere either a course file on pc or just in unpublished on console because you never know when a course might disappear and all those hours would be lost. |

Thanks yeltzman, I have a backup from a day before the publish, just need to review what changed on the last day, but always hard to remember. Any thoughts on how/who to ask the question of why. Not just for me but it would be good to have some guidelines for others as well. If it's a name thing then that's an easy fix. If it's a location thing, then an anonymous name would fix that. If it's a copyright thing, then I'm not sure putting a fictional course on a "commercial property" constitutes a takedown. If it's a religions thing, then that's more difficult. |

It is a shame when a course is removed and really it's hard to see the reason why, I think going forward it would be nice if 2k had a community member you could get in touch with and maybe find a reason why, saying that it's why you have to go through all that writing now and again when they update and it says 2k owes the content and can delete it or use it anytime. I think maybe a republish with a slightly different name or a space in there somewhere.
Sind a Lah GC... for an example.

I’ve opened a ticket with 2K, which is a task in itself.
Had to show screenshots of it not appearing in the game?
Might get an outcome but not holding my breathe.
It shall return in another guise.
