First of all, welcome to Kinetic anyone that got promoted here this week, there might be a good few of you, but we won't really know that until this past week is finalized Nothing to crazy this week for the people who are experiencing the pro tours for the first time but don't worry, plenty of crazy to come over the next 6 weeks or so. This week we are heading to Lara Pinta by metatropic . I have no idea who this Lara chick is and why she has a course named after her. I know Larapinta is in Australia but we have had way to many Australian courses by way to many Australian designers lately and I refuse to head back to that place again so Lara Pinta it is. Now that I think of it, isn't there a Pinta disease which happens to be a tropical disease and if we look closely at the designers user name and spilt that in two, we get meta tropic, meta being a ancient Greek word when used as a prefix can mean beyond or change and then we have tropic which could simply be short for tropical, so if we put two and two together, we come up with the only logical solution. This weeks designer is a mad scientist who specializes in creating tropical diseases which change or alter the skin, and when he was dumped by a girl called Lara for a professional golfer, he decided on a plan for revenge. He would combine his job as mad scientist with his hobby of mad course designer. He would create both a course and a tropical(Tropic) disease(Pinta), then arrange for the course to be played on the pro tours thus infecting a bunch of professional golfers who would travel around the world spreading the disease to both other golfers and people that watch golf, which in turn will find it's way to Lara and he would have his revenge is to cruelest possible way by changing her looks beyond(Meta) what she looked like before. it's genius in all it's horrible glory, I am sure glad that I do not play on the pro tours. Or it could be named after Larapinta Trail in Australia but no, that's just to simple. Anyway, good luck and have fun this week. it's going to be so funny seeing how mutated you will all be by next weeks event. Maybe we can have a bonus prize for ugliest mutation but then again, seeing how most of you look anyway, it might be kind of hard to tell the difference.

Welcome back Jamie, I think you got what used to be called a battlefield promotion, when players score very over a period of time, the admins will move them up the tours.

Struggled massively in the first round, battling the swing line and putted like I don't belong here. Played really well second round, all in the same sitting! 67 and 59 for -18 at the cut. Hopeful that makes it, we'll see in the morning. If I'd shot two 63's I'd be quite happy, I suppose I should look at it that way, but man that first round was bad.
Great course, great conditions, great to be back in the best tour on TGCTours.

Looking like getting a top 10 with a solid 60 60 weekend. I don't know how I feel about this, I really wanted to get back and play here and now already I'm only one decent week from Elite. Really enjoyed this course.
