This will be the last week on kinetic for a few of you, with a promotion event this week, I am sure some of you are going to be moving on up. For others though, it will be your last week on kinetic as we are playing this week at a wildlife preserve and normally when we put a bunch of golfers, some maybe not so smart, some maybe after a drink or two to many in a place where there are wild and dangerous animals, the inevitable happens. This weeks course by nogoal05 does have it's fair share on dangers, snakes, alligators, big cats, poisonous plants are just a few things you will face this week as you play the event and to make matters worse, the designer decided not to use safety fencing around the waters edge of the course, but instead decided to use slippery wooden steps, if your ball goes anywhere near this steps, it is going in the water, if you go anywhere near these steps, you are going in the water, and what awaits in the water, well I am sure you can figure it out. But it is my duty to try and keep at least some of you in one piece this week, so a few words of advice. Don't feed the animals, the last time we had a event at a animal preserve, one golfer thought it would be fun to throw some nuts at a squirrel, the squirrel was happy with the free lunch so called all his buddies over who in their greed for nuts, all jumped upon the golfer trying to be first for the nuts, the last time he was seen was running into the forest cover from head to toe in squirrels. Also remember, a golf club is not match for a bears claws, you hit the bear with the golf club, it will hit you with his claws, the best advice for a bear situation is to push your playing partner down to distract the bear so you can get away. Next, even if feeling peckish, dont eat the wild mushrooms that grow through out the golf course, last year with had a incident with a golf who after eating the mushrooms became convinced that he was the worlds greatest sand artist which in itself was fine, the problem was, that any object be it ball or human that ended up in a bunker where he was working, he considered it more material for him to work with, and the course staff complained that it was very difficult to get the blood out of the sand. And then there was the group from the second round a couple years back who after a few to many beers before they started their rounds, thought they could wrestle the alligators, they could not. So if you do want to leave the kinetic for some strange reason, do yourself a favor, play the promotion event, it is the safest way. For everyone else, good luck and have fun and for the handful of people that read this, play safe, flirting with edges here will bring water balls.
