Our Mexican Championship takes us to El Camaleon - designed by the traitor but a lovely course. We played this in a test tourney with sticky balls - let’s see how you do without. Should be a relaxing week, with sunshine, a bit of wind, just good golfing conditions.

(NOT DISGUSTING) SCARY DISGUSTING Oh yeah, should have mentioned that you should avoid that bunker! 😎 I don't remember seeing that the few times I watched the tourney but I think I'll go with 3 wood on this hole. Yeah it's a G Norm course but it is great looking and well rendered by the designer. Fun playing a practice round on it. |

I’m (still) an idiot. Started lovely with a -8, followed by a -6. Slightly annoyed by an unnecessary bogey in both rounds, so decided to continue playing to make up for it. NEVER play with that attitude - not wise, not for me at least. So… threw it all away with 3 bogeys in round 3 and, obviously, decided to make up for that in round 4 and… well, I don’t have to explain….
Total: a dozen shots worse than I should have been
Next week I won’t loose my patience; I won’t - well, I’ll try not to, I promise…. I think… 😎😎😎😎

Decided to show my face again where the real men hang out.
Bit of a trial if I'm honest after a bit of a lay off.
Round 1 cracked out a few humph's early on but managed to drag back to even.
Round 2 a tenuous game of cat and mouse desperately trying to get under par, survived with a 1 under.
Round 3 must have been an easier set up. 5 under and mucked up two great shots at birdies to make it a little better.
Round 4 saved for in the week....I'll be back.
All in all good fun as it always is here.
Onward!!!

First rage quit in a while. Don’t hit it in the water on 10 or you’ll end up in the jungle across the water with apparently no option to re-tee. Drop zones are a joke in this game!

Pretty happy with my first TST attempt in many weeks. Forgot just how satisfying it can be to drain a 20 foot putt!! Struggled a bit in the first two but found my feet better in the final two. Head down now and grind myself back into the flights....  |

I started off pretty shaky and the shakes continued through both rounds. The first 4 holes I barely missed two birdies and as you know that can deflate your confidence. So, on hole 5 I fasted it right into the water and proceeded to mess up the putting to double bogey. Nice, Real Nice. I calmed the F--- Down like I always try to do. It's only a game. meyo got to win sometimes. Breath In. Breath Out. Ohmmmm... Ohmmmm. Birdied the next three holes. Hole 12 really upset me with another three putt because someone enjoyed making that stupid pin position. Should have been a birdie but for some reason the putt breaks hard to the left at the hole, all around the hole! Anyways, still managed an under-par round scoring everyone's favorite number. And I went 8 under par, thru 24 holes, without a bogey, after that debacle. Round Two felt horrible but I managed to fight through all the scrambling and score 6 under par. 8 Under after Two Rounds and I'll see you guys in three or four days.  |
