So I love sims, and have played the PGA games back in the day on Xbox. I'm now on a PC and during the free weekend decided I'd give the game a try and between the well done game and finding TGCTours I was hooked and want to make this part of my gaming repertoire, but I had been playing 3-click with the mouse and switching to the swing stick has been tough. I found a video from someone about the Terminator method of swinging that had made it a lot better, but that just means I'm no longer hitting the stroke limit on every hole, I'm dig it 4 times in a round, so it is a vast improvement, but just finished two rounds on TPC Boston in Korn Ferry Q School at +99 so not going to be passing qualifying any time soon in TGC. Short of keeping to practice, which I will certainly do, anything I am missing. I am pretty good and keeping the swing at least in the light grey area 80% of the time, but even then I find I shank the ball, hit it 60 yards with the driver (that seems to be if I hit Very Fast and tempo is off, but not sure if that is the cause). Even when the swing shows a straight hit in the white zone all the way though, I usually get the ball curving to the left. So it seems that I am missing something when I swing straight but still do not get it to hit straight. So very hard to know what to adjust. I've spent time in practice mode in driving range and and very consistent in hitting to the left when swinging straight once I get in the groove, hit the same bunker over and over. Before I totally mess up my learning by compensating figured I'd ask the experts here. Would love to get good enough to compete and perhaps share my journey on YT in the future but right now it's just embarassing. I want to play in the main tourneys not the 3 click as my only option. I read the vibration things as some of my challenge on chips and such is knowing how hard to swing but I think that is just learning the feel as in real golf. Anyway, hope this makes sense and someone can provide some advice. Glad to be here!

I use a mouse, but with driving I get better accuracy when keeping my backswing/power under 100% or right on, if you try to crush it over 100% and miss on your fast/slow it will slice or hook like crazy.

Late reading the question. Correct about hitting at or just below 100%. Some folks will focus more on where the hands/club are at or near the top of the swing that reflects at or near 100%. Otherwise, just takes a great deal of practice and muscle memory; maybe, a little luck.

Anyway, hope this makes sense and someone can provide some advice. Mastering the swing, whether in golf, tennis, or another sport, requires patience, practice, and focus on technique. Start by practicing the basic form slowly, concentrating on balance and control. To enhance your skills, try using online tools and resources, such as those found at edubrain.ai/ which offer guidance and tutorials. Gradually increase your swing speed while maintaining accuracy, and don’t forget the importance of regular practice sessions. With the right tools and dedication, mastering the swing becomes much more achievable! Glad to be here! cool, thanks
