This week we have something unusual with a golf course built around a horse racing track. What sort of madman would build a golf course around a racetrack I hear you ask, well cg444 would. As for why he would do this, well that is just a sad story, Chris I'm afraid is a hopeless gambler. you know the sort of person that would bet on two rain drops running down a window, the sort of person that would try and bet with anyone that happened to be near him at the time, it does not matter what he is betting on, as long as he is betting. He came up with this idea so he could bet on horse racing as he plays golf, or was it so he could bet on golf as he rides horses, it might have been that he was trying to invent a new sport, horse golfing so he could bet on that. I am not sure but it involved gambling. Chris approached me one day while I was at a event for a charity I run "Dan's Totally Legit Tax-Shelter Non-Profit Organisation Charity Thing" and he said, I made a golf course, I bet you 10,000 euro that if you played my course, you would want to use it on the kinetic. I am not a gambler myself, more of a receiver of donations but 10 grand is 10 grand so I told him I would be happy to play his course, I was not going to lose the bet, I was going to say no, no matter what but might as well make a show of it. So I went and played his course, told him no, it was not good enough and gladly took him money. Now this may seem unfair to some of you, it was a bet he could not win, but to me, I was teaching him a lesson, that there was no winners when it comes to gambling, well except me of course. He got into a huff because he lost, said he was going to Vegas to build a golf course around slot machines. With Chris gone, I thought to myself, I could use the course now for free, with Chris lost in the world of slot machines, he would never know he actually won the bet. It is not like he is a Kinetic player and would be playing this week right, that could never possibly happen. So this week we are heading to Levenhall Racecourse GC. Unfortunately, there will be not horse racing this week. I thought it would be fun to have the racing on at the same time as the golf but then remembered we do have some special people here on kinetic, and one of them would want to get a closer look at the horseys during a round and get themselves killed. It has been a bad year for deaths on the kinetic so it's best to keep the numbers down for a little while at least. So no racing, but plenty of golf, so tough holes during the opening two rounds but for those that make the cut, some more scoring chances in the last two rounds. So good luck, have fun and no one tell Chris we are using his course.

After doing the tedious act of adding fittings to my player, I was finally able to put four good consecutive rounds together. I thought I might be done for after a three putt bogey on 7 in the final round, but I played the last 11 holes in 10 under, including a chip in on the par 3 15th. Hoping my -54 is good enough for my first win on Kinetic and second overall.
