Man True Sim can be frustrating! First round I played great but couldn’t make anything and ended up with 15 pars in a row! Finally chipped in on 16 and hit a great shot on 17 to salvage -2.

For some reason, I decided that taking risks was okay again after shooting -12 in round 1 with ultra-boring golf. Obviously, this immediately resulted in a bogey in round 2 and a bogey in round 3 and then loosing patience in round 4 for a disaster. I AM AN IDIOT!!!! Round 2: -8 Round 3: -9 Round 4: E Total: -29 If I were a patient man, that could have been a really good week...

-6, -7 = -13. Come on now, with the scores I show up with here, did you expect anything else? Front nines for currently 75%-ish of the scoring, -4 in the back in 2 rounds. Putter has been insane for me so far, dropped a 44 foot birdie early in round 1 (think it was hole 4) and a 30 footer as well in round 2. Very good playing with near misses involved that actually could have me going even better. Then again... can I really complain about anything when on my first week back in the Nicklaus flight, the overall leaderboard actually currently has me at about top 10 pace (T-9 as of writing)? Which is such a rarity to me that I've seen it happen only once before in a little over 100 events? If I could somehow keep this up... Cheers, best of luck!

Just finished up round three. I flubbed 3 easy shots. Nothing to do with the game or controller. Complete and Utter User Error. But I dropped a couple of medium to long range putts to help counter the mishaps. Six Birdies + Two Bogies = another 4 under par round. Currently (-9) after three.
My driving accuracy has been horrid and a 66.7% GIR in round 3 didn't help either. I need to clean this part of my game up and clean it up fast. I can't be living with a 53% driving accuracy for 3 rounds. That's Unacceptable... Soldier!!

My driving accuracy has been horrid and a 66.7% GIR in round 3 didn't help either. Because of the sloped fairways and strategically placed bunkers, this felt like a tough course for driving with little margin for error - I hit a lot of decent drives that rolled into the semi-rough. Alternatively, it could be that we’re both just crap at driving… I was 5 under for the first 7 holes in R3, and thought I’ve finally cracked this game. Oh how very wrong I was… 😂

Oh how very wrong I was… 😂 Last round went a leeetal bit better for me in all departments. I had a 72 % FIR and GIR which was nice. But the round was one of the craziest True Sim Rounds of my very short career. My first tee shot was super slow and the easy second shot was the same. Next, I duffed the chip and missed the putt and made a nice bogey. Bad Start. The second hole was a bit of a struggle, but I managed a bridie. Par on 3 and 4. Hole 5 is where it got crazy. Huge Fast Shank to miss the water and put me in the deep rough. Miracle Flop Shot, just goes in, like magic, to give me an Eagle. Bogey next hole because of adrenaline. And birdie out the next 3 holes of the front side to put me at 4 under on the round. Backside was very nice. Birdied 5 out of the first 8 holes. Sitting at 9 under par, for the round, I just needed a birdie for my first True Sim double digit round. Don't slow it into the water. Ok, slow it into the water. Drop the ball in the heavy rough. Decent approach shot but tough 4-inch downhill putt for par. I bogied. 8 Under for the round, which isn't the worst thing in the world. 17 Under for the second week in a row on the True Sim Tour. I'll have a nice Po' Boy Hoagie to celebrate. Hold the meyo of course and add Mustard. Thank You Very Much!

Always love a nice backside 😉 Just noticed I needed that par on 18, to tie you this week, on the True Sim Tour. Bahhhh, Whatever... At least I finally beat you in Elite this week!

So close to something so unbelievably great... still good considering my usual level of play but I'm just one round away from completely breaking through. -7 round 3, let's go! -3 round 4, tempo dead and just think I ran outta gas with how unreal some of my swing misses were. Worst feeling ever to 3 putt for par on 18, especially since it didn't have to be that way getting close for putt 2 from 65 feet. -23 total. It's a better start than my last run at the top flight, at least this time I might have a clean slate for longer than the opening event! Taken massive steps up through this season, went from around 40-50 starting this season to consistent threat for top 25 and feeling like a real competitive golfer this week. Gives hope that one week I'll get the four really good rounds in (or be consistent enough to stick close) and will get something extremely good out of it too. Cheers, good luck next week and play "masterfully"!

Dear TST enthusiasts, For now, we’ve exhausted the supply of TST-playable Texan courses You rang?!?!?!? ATM I'm having a dose of burnout but trying to stoke the fires again and will look for a good Texas based course (I'm in NW Louisiana and 10 miles from the Texas border so ....) in the meantime. I'm still working on Camiral Golf & Wellness (formally known as PGA Catalunya) in Spain (Frans this is the course I showed you already) and 2 more that might or should draw interest for you all. Also, there is an issue with the program we LiDARers use to get the data into the game, hopefully it will be resolved. Link to Camiral Golf & Wellness #4 in Spain .... The 5 pics on there are dated, they've added a bunch of red/brown mulch along the tree lines.
