Dear TST enthusiasts,
For now, we’ve exhausted the supply of TST-playable Texan courses and therefore I’m using this opportunity to take you to Fox Chapel Golf Club. It’s a Seth Raynor template holes course and a beauty. Some of the green are also good practice for next week; I would advice you to not hit it above the hole on the first par 3 and get it on the right plateau on some of the others… 😎😎😎
Have fun and good luck, Frans

Continuing my streak of bogey-free ultra-boring golf: Round 1: -12 You tell us how dangerous and tough the course is and then proceed to walk out and shoot an opening round of 12 under par!? pfffft!!

I apologise 😎 You have no idea how many years I went around saying that in a Southern Accent. And I grew up in New England and Pennsylvania so the accent was fake. 10/10 for your reply to my comment. Well Played Partner... Well Played.

Opened birdie-birdie (after a brilliant flop hole out from right rough on 1)…and finished +2 (after a birdie on 18, inches from an eagle actually). Bit of a bummer, but anything better than +4 really feels good for me. Had some reallllllly bad putts that cost me dearly.

Bit of a bummer, but anything better than +4 really feels good for me. Had some reallllllly bad putts that cost me dearly. I feel ya. I opened birdie, birdie too. As a matter of fact, I hit my second shot, on hole #1, right on the edge of the cup. Not sure how it didn't fall in as it was literally hanging halfway on the edge. After that I missed a few putts by inches and on hole #5 I fell right the F--- Apart! (lul) Bogeyed five, six and eight to take away my 2 under par. The rest of the back nine was a sheer struggle as I never left myself an uphill putt. I was fortunate to birdie 12 and 18 to get back to 1 under par for the first round. The second round was a bit better but more of the same. Just kept leaving myself downhill putts. Could have been much worse. I could have fallen off the cliff like meyo in round 2. It appears that he takes ULTRA SIM more seriously as he is kicking my butt over there. Thankfully, I take TRUE SIM more seriously and can one up him over here. Round One (-1) Round Two (-4)

I woulda done the same had I not double bogied 4 and bogied another shortly. after it…also had like 4 or 5 bogies on the back 9. Honestly sorta miraculous to be at +2 after 1 haha. I feel I can get it back in Rd 2 tho, much like yourself!

Second round with the course playing full throttle I couldn't get the ball close to the hole with my crummy approaches and ended up with 33 putts so I finished (+1) 71. If we had Augusta next week, this would have been a stellar warm up course with all the undulating fairways and tilted greens - I made sure to play a practice round this week so I could draw or fade the tee shots according to the fairway slopes - still only at 55% fairways so far. And the game froze twice on me in the 2nd round - I'm still not getting a ps5 for EA's version.

Round One (-1) Round Two (-4) That's a real solid start so far - couldn't birdie that 18th hole either round. Pete Rose on the Expos - I totally forgot - yeah he wasn't as good at that point but racking up the hits.

Yeah, I'm in this golf baseball league thing and the Expos are my team. Had to change my Avatar even if he only played 95 games before being traded back to the Reds lol. I like how he has a bit of gut in this picture

I like how he has a bit of gut in this picture I sensed the humor in your avatar - had to say something he heh he One of my first baseball cards was that wooden border 1987 Topps Pete Rose card where he was my only player in that set with gray hair -think he still had the gut-can't remember. And then on the back, they had to fit like 20-something years of stats - it was teeny tiny writing.
