I live in Sacramento, California USA. I will bet money that no TGC player can come to where I live and play a tournament under par. I believe it is impossible to do on my console even though I got a new controller.

People still live in California. More than pretty much anywhere in the states.

I will agree. As a newer person here, really excited to give TGC a go, I find the master level swing extremely, extremely challenging with an Xbox controller on a PC. Seeing people getting -52 or something in a tournament I am at a loss on how that is possible, even to be under par at all let alone that far. I've been scouring the internet for folks showing how to master the swing and finding very little. What I have found had certainly helped (nearly 50% improvement on my last round of two before I got cut with a +60 instead of a +99), but I'm not sure if I'm missing some key thing that would just make it possible. I posted a thread asking for help but gotten no responses, so feel like its just grind along to if/when I have practiced enough. I'm at about 20 hours of hard core focus to get better and the snails pace of progress is tough. So I feel your pain meunier.

So I feel your pain meunier. 1) Grind career mode on easier difficulty settings to make sure you win every time until you got a full setup of legendary fittings 2) Practice 3) Start with focusing your fittings towards timing and use the rhythm archetype to further enhance this 4) Find the weak spots in your game and avoid those. You don't like pitch shots, for instance? Lay up to a full wedge instead. 5) Practice

I have mapped out every swing type with full swings but varying degrees of loft, de-loft, and ball spin (both directions) so that for most of my bag I have about 3 yards (or less) between clubs (the longer distances the gaps are bigger).

I already have a full set of legendary fittings. I play every day, its that I dont believe swing plane or tempo work in the game. I believe there are 6 different types of swings to use in the game and no single correct one. I want TOTAL CONTROL over my swing and to swing how I want. I can't put together swings where swing plane tempo and distance are correct at the same time.
