Over 100 with attributes?

I recently saw in a thread that attributes add +6. So if I have 100 timing with fittings on my irons and have the +timing attribute, am I getting 106? Or is it then a waste to have fittings over 94? I'm guessing it's the latter but has anybody done any testing?

Its a waste.
I depower my wedges, which means I have to target timing fittings.
I got my power down to 49. but it does mean my timing is around 120. I only get 100 of that. So yes that +20 to timing is a waste but i like having super short wedges, Its a trade off in that situation.

It is worth checking some of the last tier skills which give boosts to attributes.
If your irons/wedges are close to maxed out on timing it makes no sense to run the tier 7 skills at level 3.
eg. my wedges and irons have maxed out on timing. So I run Higher Degree and Metalhead skills at lvl2 for the swing path passive boost instead of using lvl3 which would add timing that doesn't actually do anything.
If you have maxed out your driver with power fittings. You can drop the skill tee n crush-its too. I run rhythm so only get up to 96 power on my driver, so I still run it.
