I just made one similar Mosquito Bog Golf Course. Take a look and maybe you can get some ideas. That Course was a challenge for me with all the water.

Just went and looked at your thread for it, I’m gonna play it here in a bit but yeah man it looks awesome. Very similar to mine for sure, from the pictures. It does seem you went with a bit more than I on the water/land ratio but it looks really good. I’m with you on the planting, Looks like we both went with the cypress and live oak for trees and the green bush in the marsh. Im adding the brownish reeds to mine as well. The hard thing for me with the planting is just the sheer amount of it that needs to be done. Thanks for the heads up on your course, much appreciated. |

So after playing I was wrong on the water/land ratio. You definitely gave the feel of flowing in and out of the wetlands areas, but kept them always present. Love the willow in the water with the dead tree bird nest in the middle, really cool. Overall course is awesome all the way through. I’m hoping to publish a beta in the next day or two as well. |

Thanks for the play through. I struggled with the look and finished bushes, bit found something that eventually worked enough. If I had it to do over again o would change some things up.
I look forward to giving yours a go.

Maybe check out the kind of comments I've been making on some of the vids I've made and let me know if that's of interest to you.

I haven’t gotten any feedback yet on that one so I’ve just been filling in some planting around the plot till I get some feedback on current look. Hey mate I got through 12 holes. I've got to speed things up a bit I think - would be nice to finish a round on these beta playthroughs. But on the other hand I like taking my time and checking things out properly.
I'm also still figuring out my audio setup, and sometimes I forget that I need to annunciate a little better, I just chat away to myself. So hopefully the audio is all ok and you can understand what I'm saying.
Nice course so far. One of the things that I thought could be better was fairway width, especially for the layup or shorter options. You'll see what I mean in the video.
Always like to point out that I'm not an authority on anything, I'm just some bloke in Australia and this is just my own personal opinion. It's all subjective.

I definitely see your point on the fairway width, I started out somewhat intent on making the landing areas on the narrower side but after seeing and hearing you reasoning it makes sense. I have added a good bit more planting on the barren open areas, and added the bridges so you can walk to each fairway and green and not have to swim haha. Thanks again for the feedback and I will let you know when I publish the final version so you can take a look at the finished product. |

This is the first course I’ll be publishing from 2k23. Took me a while to get a feel for the new designer. Going for a course with the feel of being in the Everglades. The name itself translates to “river of grass which is the look I am going for overall. The fairways, bunkers and tee areas mimic the surrounding landscape as they flow and meander around. 
A couple more pictures with some more planting done. After playing the beta I made the green side bunker on 5 visible from the fairway. Also adding the light rough strip around all greens, I noticed I missed a couple. 
here’s a couple updated pictures. The first 2 are of the redesigned 2nd hole, then you have the shot looking back towards 18 tee and finally looking toward 14 green. 
I’m pretty close to publishing Okeechobee National G.C. So I wanted to put up some pictures from around the course.
