I’ve been dabbling in this format since its release. And after an honest go I think it is more broken than working for me. I seem to get many disconnected matches in the loading screen. Even a handful of disconnects mid match. Also feels like the timing is like swinging a club while stuck in mud. Loading between holes is also excruciating long as well
Anyone else having issues on the PlayStation 4?

I have not had this experience and I am somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 matches. I am on PC though.
No or rare disconnects (or quitters, not sure how to delineate), swing feels normal and other than the wait to get to the first T it's been fairly brisk most of the time.
Likely not helpful but I'll leave it anyway,

Just trying this ranked stuff today and have questions.
What level are we playing on? Can you choose the level? can you turn off some screen stuff like the shot trail?
Is there a better thread with answers to these questions?
Thanks in advance.
Onward!

It's Pro Swing (although to me it doesn't feel that different to Master but it's a touch more forgiving obviously). You cannot change this. You can turn the meters off in settings, turn the shot set-up meter to off (options are on / fade / off). You can't turn the trajectory line off (when aiming) or stop the aiming marker moving about when you're making adjustments. I've played about 40 or so games and quite enjoy it as another way to practice. It reminds me how much loft and spin affect aim for when I'm playing CC rounds or whatever. I thought I was going to hate it but I actually quite enjoy it as a relaxing alternative way to play.

I don't know about the consoles but on Steam you cannot change any of the meter settings. If you go into the pause menu, display and HUD, and disable 'shot setup feedback' it'll hide the swing metre.

Hey thanks! I didn't look there. I just looked in the difficulties menu. I can't stand that swing meter. Will the settings revert to the ones I have outside of ranked matches after the match is over? No worries! Unfortunately not it'll stay that way until you toggle it back.

Once again nothing ever stays the same.
You were given some seconds to back out of a ranked pairing (and I realize some likely used this to course shop) prior to the latest update. Now that feature is gone and once the pairing appears, it seems you are committed to play that match. Trouble is, after some 300+ matches I have a list of suspect, rude and very slow players that I do not ever care to play again. No longer able to player shop either I guess as the feature is gone. I am not interested in 25-40 minute 9 hole matches!!!!
I did see flash by something about 3 hole quick matches but I do not see that option.
