Played 3 great rounds in this weeks event, for me anyway. Last round, I hit a putt about 4 feet, bounced off the pin and stayed out. Did I learn my lesson, no. Next putt, admittedly a bit angry, hits the pin and stays out again. Did I learn my lesson, apparently not. About 2 holes later, do the same thing a third time. I also, 5 putted, yes 5 putted on the par 3 with the shadows from the trees blowing all over the place. As a result of the previous pin cruelty, I took the pin out and couldn’t see the hole with the shadows blowing all over the green. So, take the pin out unless you have crazy shadows and need to see the hole location better. Still trending in the right direction but that round stings.

I tend to line my putt up and then whip the pin out before I hit the ball.
