What is the best way to get straighter fairway splines. All of the splines that I create are wavy despite properly spreading the spline points between 10-20 yards. I don't need them to be perfectly straight but they should be at least a little straight. I know I can get straight lines with brushes but then it's hard to get the first cut line. Or are the splines just bugged as sometimes I can create long spline lines of around 50 yards and they have straight edges sometimes.

Make sure spline points are laid out in a straight line Smooth / sharpen path

Make sure the path isn’t too narrow. Make sure spline points are laid out in a straight line Smooth / sharpen path What would be considered too narrow, I currently use path width 10. So sometimes if the path looks a bit wavy, you can thicken the path and it'll appear smoother. try 20 or so and just spline a narrower area with the wider path. Another issue can be when you lay light rough down over painted heavy rough - it causes the textures to pull on eachother. To test this, remove the light rough secondary from the fairway and if it straightens out, thats your issue
