This is a course I've been working on for a while, finally got the 18 holes in, sculpting nearly done and the look I wanted.

as I'm at the stage where I want to start the refined planting, and what you'd consider to by the aesthetics on the course eg: clubhouse, tee boxes etc

I am looking for some feedback if any one can give it a playthru,  I'd appreciate any and all.

Thanks dude, all feedback is appreciated, FYI the beta is an earlier version, I've changed a few holes after playing them, mainly the 4th, I made the fairway a bit wider and added a beach style bunker to the left handside and a lay up area, 5th, added a beach style bunker by the green, 12th, various stuff, and 16th, took the ridge out and made the hole alot smoother, with better sight lines. I've also done alot of rock work since.

I fogit to say, The pins are in generic spots aswell on the beta so any dodgy ones, just ignore them

Right so I gave this a go. Back tees pin 1.

Hole 1. Nice hole, fairway spline on left is very wobbly. Big bunker right good but crept up the cliff too much in places. Pot bunkers throughout the course are a bit “bathtubby” meaning everything falls into one point in the middle.

Hole 2. Cool look. Pots are a bit better here. I think this course could benefit from lower lighting but it depends on what look you’re going for.

Hole 3. Nice hole. Grasses creeping onto tee area but I’m sure you will tidy up.

Hole 4 is a nice hole. A little tight and bunkers a bit bathtubby but you said you made changes to this one.

Hole 5. Fairway could be widened or have less camber but I like the concept.

Hole 6. Unique concept here, sort of sideways biarritz green. 4 bunkers short isn’t really needed and the sculpting on them needs a nice bit of work.

*Hole 7. Could you DM me an overhead shot of this hole and I’ll explain my advice on it in more detail.

Hole 8. Very wide fairway compared to last hole. Cool look, greenside bunkers a bit too deep.

Hole 9. Cool hole, green could use more contours.

Hole 10. Cool look, only critique is why is the narrower side the better option?

Hole 11. Good hole but green is huge compared to others.

Hole 12. Not bad, like the concept. Green is huge again.

Hole 13 is a nice hole

Hole 14. Pin 1 is very dicey. Cool hole. Would like to see the bunkers from the tee.

Hole 15. Why is left the better side of the fairway? Front bunkers a little too deep.

Hole 16. Cool hole but why is the green so big? As a 3 shot par 5, most will be hitting wedges on their 3rd. Would like to see more pressure put on third shot.

Hole 17. Tone down the contours on this green. A mix between the contours here and on 9 would be good for both holes.

Hole 18. No need for the small bit of fairway to the right of the bunkers.

Nice course overall, needs a little work but I can see this being a great course for you.

Thanks for the feedback brendan, its exactly what I needed, it's not critical at all.
I like how it's balanced.

I was just saying the other day on another wip thread how I struggle on bunkering and coursedesignhq sent me a vid.

I like a bit of variety on my courses to sometime I do bigger greens and fairways.

Overall fantastic feedback and it's appreciated, hopefully I can return the favour someday
