HUNG SWING; has anyone else seen this glitch?

I go up to the top of of my backswing and swing forward AND THE SWING WON'T COME DOWN EVEN THOUGH I AM DOING IT. I'm not using the old incomplete swing, the controller flat out won't pick up my input! This seems to be an off and on problem, it does not happen every time I turn on the console. It causes bad putting swings also. Is this a problem with some courses where there is not enough framerate left to get a good swing?

I went back to the same course and settings and shot a +4 with the swing problem coming back in the last 5 holes or so. It seems to be a problem with the controller input being picked up too slowly. IDK if this is an important detail, on the 1st hole the game froze in a replay and I had to restart the game. I should have restarted my console I think.
