I've got just over 870 hours into PGA2k23 and still loving it.
I know many of you are burned out but I'm burning up with a Fever for the TGC, USE and Society Tours!
So, here's the breakdown...
I play two practice round 4 conditions at my new favorite course Helsinki. (LIE, not favorite)
And I shoot 8 under par on both of them with only one bogey. (True Story)
I feel good but figure I'm due for a bad round.
As usual, my F-IT attitude wins in the end, and we fire up the real deal.
The first hole I put the second shot into the left-side bunker, and I've eagled this hole every round so far.
I just want to get it close and get a bird and that's basically what I do.
19 under and going good... LET'S GO!
Nerves get the best of me and I start to shank it into the rough and bunkers and scramble around for 6 pars in a row.
I bogey the 8th and it's all falling apart.
Meyo gonna beat Mustard again.
But this is Golf, Damnit, STFU and get your mind right!
I try but another par sneaks in on the tenth with only 8 holes to play and 5 strokes behind many of my rivals.
On hole number 12, I try to cut it around the trees, as usual, and this time I hit some leaves, but my ball bounces into the fairway.
Whew... Now we got a problem as we are 280 yards away.
So, I put some backspin on the 254-yard 3 wood and blast it straight with a 101% Power.
The ball hits the front of the green and rolls to a good spot about 10 feet away from the hole.
I know this putt is pretty darn straight from "practice".
I drain it and now I'm only two strokes away from tying my best buddy, Meyo!
Par the 13th but birdie, birdie on 14 and 15.
We're Tied MotherF'ers!!
Par 16 and 17... humph$%^&#*
Now don't F up the 18th hole.
We always do this, F it up on the last hole.
I hit a cutter into the wind and get a nice angle for a shot over the trees from the fairway.
Of course, we fast the shot and put it into the fringe, about 13 yards from the hole, with an impossible shot.
But Mustard drains the chip and finishes with an Eagle on 18 and 25 under par for the Tournament.
Rivals defeated and even tied asyoudo64 which was a nice bonus.
7 Under Par on the back nine??? GTFOH!
Good Game Fellas... Gee Gees.
