All i want to do is turn slopes that are red, into orange or yellow. Just make the slopes less severe. Sculpting is by far my weakest part of designing. I can get it to kind of look the way I want but it completely changes that area of the green. I don't want to change the green, just make the slopes less severe.
Do I use a fuzzy brush and raise it at the bottom if the slope? Lower it at the top?

Bit of a mix of all of those - worth watching the below (a playlist, so work your way through) and the videos on greens stickied. The more time you really invest in sculpting, the better - it's the biggest thing that separates courses. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/32674/greens-2k23

I generally use the fuzzy brush and enlarge it to cover the portion of the green I want lowered (or raised), then, depending on how much it needs to be altered, do so with the entire section.
