I've played around with a couple of ideas for the CC comp but finally settled on a course set in a small rural town. A mix of gentle, undulating countryside vibes with some holes that weave their way close to the township.

Hole 1 tee

The par three, redan-ish fourth

A drivable par-four sixth, with OB left of the green

Par-four eighth, weaving between houses and a neighbouring forest

The semi-blind par-three 12th

Six more holes to think out, and a sh%$ ton of planting. But feel like I'm in good shape.

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
