This thread is for the upcoming course being built by The Bogey Train Podcast on PGA 2k23. Here is a little background behind the course and idea.
The Bogey Train began as a radio show back in 2018/2019 as a part of a class my friend Nick was taking at college. Since then, it has now grown and become a weekly podcast Nick, his friend Noah, and I talk about all things golf, including PGA 2k23 and TGC Tours.
Noah is currently a golf course architecture student down in Georgia. The plan behind the course is that he will use his golf course architecture knowledge to build a golf course which I will then design in PGA 2k23 specifically for the Bogey Train. The course will be set in the western hills of South Dakota, with half of the holes playing in a lower, flatter valley and half of the holes winding through the hills with numerous elevation changes. The 18th hole will feature a downhill tee shot and approach shot to an amphitheater green protected by a large water hazard.
I will update this thread with Noah's updated designs as well as the holes as they are completed in game.
