This is a little pet peeve of mine that I work very hard to avoid on my own courses. When you do this, it really cleans up the edges of where your light rough meets the heavy rough - ESPECIALLY on themes like Boreal, Delta, and Countryside that get that dirt look very easily. What I'm talking about is when you have the browned heavy rough right next to light rough. It looks very artificial to me, kind of like you painted the light rough and then removed the tape. I like to take a wavy brush of heavy rough and put it along these areas. We don't have the glitch with the light to heavy rough anymore, so this works well. See below.
