Yesterday decided to play the 4th round of this week's tournament (CC-K). Been playing decent, promotion mark last tournament and top 10 after 3 rounds this week. I started with par-birdie-birdie, than a double bogey because of a stupid error and 3 putts. But the real drama just started. Hole 5, very fast tee shot, 200 yards, bogey. Hole 6 same as 5. Hole 7, par 4 made a 9 with a very slow tee shot which did not cross the lake, twice. Finished with 43 the first nine and 46 the second nine with 5 pars a bogey, a double and two triples  . I was so pissed and I am still today...somehow lost my swing, could not get back in rhythm. Did it ever happen to you? |

Happens to me all the time unfortunately.
-14 followed up by E on the same course.
+7 followed by -7 the next day on the same course.
That’s just within the last week.
My swing always feels like it’s on a bit of a knife edge. What I do know (and never learn from) is that trying to correct it mid-round is always a disaster.
Put it down….walk away…hit a few on the range….get the rhythm back — advice I never take.

Yes, but not quite to that extreme. This week in Elite I shot double figures under for the first 3 rounds, could only manage -5 in the final round. Part of it was swing related, part of it was putts just not dropping. It happens to me in real golf too, one day I'll shoot an ordinary high 80s round, then the next day it's back to high 70s/low 80s. That's golf 🤣

Did it ever happen to you? ...funny...happened yesterday as well...CC-L....was minus 12 thru 3 rounds then BOOM, no swing at all in round 4, went plus 8........oh well, onward.... |

I was -15 through three rounds. Really thought I was headed for my first -20, but managed only a -2. All in CC-L. I'm not complaining. Negative numbers each round was a bucket list achievement in 2K23.

Seems to happen every week. First two rounds usually go well. I make the cut, only to barf all over the course for a number of holes and then flux back and forth... birdie bogey birdie bogey. I'll do the same... put the controller down, or hit the range and try and get the consistency back. Sometimes I'll even switch controllers. I think it's HB's way of "evening the playing field". Instead of fixing the Xbox inconsistencies, they just programmed in the inconsistency for everyone lol

When your tempo goes crazy like this it could be possibile that a server update is being applied. I've had this happen a few times but after 2 straight holes of bizzare tempo issues I quit round, turn off game and come back 15 minutes later and the weird tempo is back to normal. |
