Who can tell me what size (in yards) a single green grid (see screenshot above) does actually have? I'm interested in this especially for approach shots where the pin is stuck to the front of a green and when there's not much space to land your shot, and you have to do your "math" just right if you wanna get it close.

I think it's 3 ft (A Yard) but stand to be corrected

I agree with a yard. Have you not pulled out your ruler and measured. Lol

Actually it is more than a yard. I have seen it at about 4 feet which is a little odd. Best way to figure this out is go to a putt, get it close where you are on the line and the hole is on the line. For me it read four feet.

Actually an important piece of information when setting pins. Following USGA advice, Try to keep them 2-3 squares away from the edge and 1-2 squares away from any significant change in slope.
Most designers are too careful in setting pins - especially for tours. Tobo Championship has some proper tucked ones (still going to get crushed by the pros).

For me it read four feet. I don't think the hole will ever be on a line. I've only ever seen a hole in the dead centre of a grid box. Pretty sure that's how the grid 'starts'... out from the hole. So if you were putting with the ball on a gridline, that would make sense. 1 grid = 1 yard = 3 feet plus half a grid (to the hole) for 1.5 more feet, or 4.5 feet total. Which I could see the game rounding down to 4 feet.
