We have been around for 2.5 years now and have a great group of guys who love to play but always with an eye on design overall. DbD is the brainchild of our fearless leader, gerek, who has been around the game and these boards for years. As an accomplished player and designer, he has a great POV for both sides of the spectrum.
We have few rules. Our most treasured is we only play member designed courses. Though we put in our first non member course up this year, on what we call one-off Wednesday. The other six days of the week consist of 3, 2 day, 2 rd events.
The other rules sort themselves out. We encourage positive feedback, which simply means, don’t be over critical and offer advice on how to improve. Bad mouthing other members will not be tolerated.
Every member has an equal footing. Whether your courses are on TGC Tours (shout out to caddie for this week’s Platinum event) or just planted an auto-gen, we will schedule every new pub of yours and encourage you through every level. We have a fun community message that we use to chat, discuss 2K23 and show off our WIP’s or just some trick of the trade.
I will try an update this thread as we move forward, but as some at DbD know, I am great at getting the ball rolling, continuously not so much 😋
