I'm sorry if these questions have been answered elsewhere, its just that the forum is such a size and difficult to locate anything to hand.
I have been a member of TGC Tours since it started but due to personal reasons I have been unable to play my first tournament until this week.
It is a jolly good tour and well ran from what I can see.
My questions stem from tournament play as you can imagine.
If anyone can answer the following questions I would be most grateful:
1.Tournaments seem to start on a Monday... so when do we learn of the cut line and learn whether we are to proceed with rounds 3 & 4.
Tournaments are published in-game on Saturday and are open officially on www.tgctours.com for score submissions on Monday. You can play on the opening weekend if you'd like - you just have to wait until Monday to submit your scores. Cut is Thursday night (there is a countdown timer that kicks in on the main page under Active Events). You can play R3 and R4 (and submit those scores) if you'd like prior to the cut, or you can wait for the cut. Either option is good - really whatever suits your schedule.
2. I played a few practice rounds in the run up to my first tourney and must say that the wind factor can make a real difference. I played one round early in the morning where the wind was around 1mph..then played one a few hours later where the wind was gusting at 15mph > what is the policy on this? Is it just luck of the time of teeing off?
No policy on wind waiting - we are mere days away from an update that will make winds the same for all people during tournament play. Lots of talk about it here and on the HB Forums if you're looking for more details
Thanks so much for looking and answering (if you do).
See you all out on the fairways very soon I hope.
Regards
