This week we head to Grasmhor by gforce41 and if that sounds familiar to some of you, it is because the course was played on Kinetic last season. Since we are 3 months into this season, I thought it would be a good time to see where we stand by playing a course from last season, with settings as close to the same that were used then. Some changes had to be made as last season it was a very fast very firm course and that would not work. So green speeds and firmness have been reduced a little but I have kept the setting as close as possible to the ones that were used last season. This should provide some interesting feedback to where we stand in terms of difficulty. I do think we are pretty close to the way things were last season, last weeks easier course showed that with a cut line very close to last seasons cut lines. Harder courses are casing a little bit more difficulty compared to last year but nothing to drastic. The next couple of weeks are on the easier side which some people like and others don't. There has not been a huge amount of tour ready courses lately and a lot of the newer courses have a easier difficulty level. This is not a issue to me as everyone plays the same course and I have no doubt over time, we will see more courses with varying difficulty. For now though, lets see how things compare to last season. Good luck all and have fun.

Thank you Dan for once again featuring my course. Will be very interesting to see how it stacks up to last season’s event. For those of you not familiar with the course, it is inspired by the Renaissance Club, of which the “real version” is now featured as an Official Course. I tweaked some of the holes but feel the new game actually makes most of my courses play more along the lines as I intended. Replanting was a chore on this one as the bushes changed, but it was worth the effort I hope… Now if they only will give us those stone walls in the designer! Have fun and good luck!

-6, -7 = -13 thru 2.
Not good enough, with 2 promotion marks in hand I will most likely lose both and go back to square one. That's what happens when you have those for a couple of weeks and lose out on promotion with 2 strokes and 1 stroke in back to back weeks. Back to the drawing board I go.
At least I had a 60 foot putt in round 1! Something there at least even though sometimes putting makes no damn sense to me.
Cheers, good luck.

I'm very hung over after a massive celebration that commenced Sunday when the $121,333 was deposited into my account for tie 2nd and that fog continued though round one of this week's event. I posted a shaky -8, caused mostly by seeing two holes and having to choose which was the real one. Round 2 things cleared up and putts started to drop and I finished with a -12 to get to -20 at the halfway point. Made the cut and now off to play rounds 3 & 4 hoping to move up the leaderboard. Two promotion marks from last week, but the big prize was the cold hard cash! Oh, and once again I bested my longtime rival Kenny "I can't find my green jacket" Woolley who missed another cut. Kenny.....take some lessons mate, I'm kicking your arse!
