Jumped into PGA a few weeks and this is my first PC game, although I have played WGT. Yet to play any round first mapping club distances, short game, hitting out of the rough, bunker, and putting. In an attempt to tie this into the topic...
I'd like to design a super basic mapping practice arena for myself vs not to be published. It would focus on: Mapping all clubs under no wind, but ability to alter settings. Short game out of the fairway, various rough percentage, and bunker w/ability to alter green settings.
Have other questions outside this section {Putting meter. Passes. Basic Designing.)
On Discord under: "RickinWaSt#7269 if anyone may be interested if being a mentor to this 7 decade young and 1st time player to PGA 2k23.
~ Cheers ~

I built a practice course just like you are talking about. Not very hard but the first time you do it, it is a bit of a learning curve. I have mapped out all my clubs and shots with no wind. I need to start mapping out some wind effects to better guess what the wind does, but have not gotten there yet. Good luck and see you on Discord (I sent a request). You can definitely ask questions here, but happy to chat on Discord all you like.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Figured I had enough club mapping to play my first round. Torrey Pines F9 Back Ts -3 under. Getting use to the putting meter is needed. Meter felt like is gets stuck at the gray/white marker, at least no 3 putts.
Next, go understand the "Experience Progression" details and applying the 198 xps. There are some YouTube tutorials on the subject.
