So I'm working on my challenge circuit course, I've picked 1000x1000, no water or ob, and no elevation about 32 feet. So I've decided to go for a carolina stlye course with lots of bunkering, lots of tight trees lining to course, and greens with a lot of roll offs. I'm also want a more dry aesthetic so my textures are on the brown side for now, might be something I'll change later. Hole 1 is finished. It's a 387 yard par 4 dogleg right, the green is crown shaped, I can make it more severe later if it needs it.

Recently moved to North Carolina and I've played between 40-50 rounds down here since August. So I'm curious to see how this one turns out.

Here is hole #2, 540 yard par four, if you want to go for the green in two you will have to land your drive between two crossbunkers, green has much more severe slope than #1.

Been a while since an update.... biggest change for me is I changed up my planting strategy, now we have "hedges" lining down some of the holes, brings a lot more color, and it creates a "hazard" without it being an actual hazard!

Came up with a monumental change for this course, I don't know how it will pan out or if I can get it done before the deadline, but it's definitely a better look.
Pics later, but were removing a lot of previously planted trees, and creating more natural looking bunkers.
