Gave this one a go...pin 1, green tees, default conditions.
In general, there needs to be some more finesse done with bunker sculpting. They have a bit of an uneven look to the bottoms of them. They have some depth in spots, and then look flat in others. Also, greens are set to 155 speeds, which are default Fast. I'd recommend finding a speed that's between default settings to allow for society schedulers to have some freedom with setting greens slower or faster (for example, set the green speeds to 145 so they are between default Fast and default Medium).
Hole 2: I would lower the forward tee box area to make the green, sand, and water more visible from the back.
Hole 3: not sure the back left greenside bunker will ever come into play. The green here has too much red slope thru the middle of it IMO. About half the green features red slopes...I get their purpose, they are just too extreme.
Hole 4: the best play here, to me, is to play down the Hole 3 fairway we just used. The left Hole 4 fairway leaves you miles away has sand and water in play, and the right side "island" fairway has water on both sides of it. By hitting down Hole 3's fairway, water is totally taken out of play, and you have a shorter shot and a better angle on your second. The pin here, way on the back and on a crowned spot with red slopes within 10 feet in two directions, was too much.
Hole 5: kind of feeling that the extreme dogleg hole design is a theme thru the course. This is like the 3rd or 4th hole (all the non par-3s) that has an almost 90 degree turn as part of its design.
Hole 6: I like this design here. The view off the tee is good, too. Best hole of the course so far.
Hole 8: was in the fairway off the tee, and then had zero view of anything else down the hole on my second. I was still 324 yards away, too. So without scout cam, I am completely clueless as to where to lay up. And on a hole of this length, I feel there's very little room to layup anywhere, too, as there is a minefield of bunkers and a narrowing fairway up closer to the hole. The pin here is illegal in TGCT terms: yellow slopes in about half the 9-box around the cup, and there's orange in there just one more box away, too.
Hole 9: this one's OK. My only comment is that it's basically the same hole as Hole 6. Straight par-4 with water down the right.
Hole 10: humps in the ground between the tees and fairway block the view of landing area and some bunkers. This seems like an attempt at a blind tee shot, but feels more like unintentional blindness to me. I'd flatten and drop those mounds down and open up the view.
Hole 11: the mound on the right side of the green might be a bit too dramatic.
Hole 13: I like the tee box view here. The green slopes are kind of penal if you find the wrong tier. I was above the hole, and there was no way any missed putt stayed on the green. Sure enough, I missed after just barely tapping a putt and was sent into heavy rough. Having a red slope lead into another red slope like this is a bit too much in 2K23, with the way the ball rolls out.
Hole 16: this green is kind of odd, as you could end up in one part of it and be forced to chip to another due to the bunker cutting into it and the C-shape that makes this green have. Even still, you're always trying to go for this in one, and will - at worst - have a chip and putt for an easy bird.
Hole 18: an island green par-3 is quite a way to finish! It's kind of odd having two different bridge types on the hole...using the same one will just keep it consistent.

Thanks Sroel!
It's a rough cut for sure, I haven't even messed with the speeds of the greens yet, to be honest, I actually thinking of slowing them down if anything.
Totally fine with people playing number 4 down the third fairway, I've actually done it for fun a couple of times.
I'm glad you gave me some things to look at and change, the Beta has been a little slow hopefully it will pick up. I'm going to let it run for a while just to absorb as much info as possible and then I'm going to retackle it after my Challenge Circuit Contest course is done.
Thanks again!
