PithyDoctorGI love most of your old courses, they are classics to me. Any plans to port them over? Specifically St. Cyrus, Saxondale, Friars Head, Mornington Downs, Santa Ynez, and Shawnee Run?? Might need some tweaking with the greens but I loved the strategy and environments within the courses.

Eventually; I'm glad to hear there's still interest in my courses. I only have a couple hours per week to design these days and try to get in some work on new projects. Los Angeles CC North is towards the top of my list for ports for the U.S. Open this year. I hear they made a few tweaks the last couple years that I'd like to incorporate but haven't found any info on them. Among those courses you listed, I hope to port all of them except perhaps Saxondale. The planting would need a major overhaul and so would many of the greens and a number of the pinched landing areas. That was definitely my most "exaggerated" design and I don't think it'd translate well to 2k23 as is.

Fair enough about Saxondale. It was very quirky with some odd ball holes but that is what made it good. You're right it probably would need a lot of work to make it even playable in 23. There are a decent amount of heathland courses to play these days anyways.
I'm really looking forward to the US Open at LACC this year. It is a perennially highly ranked course that doesn't get enough exposure. I'm sure Golf Digest will do a hole-by-hole video and there should be a lot more info about the changes closer to tournament time. Or even simply watching the broadcast would be beneficial. Would be nice to have your version ready to play before but if you can't find info, waiting and having an accurate version might be better.
